I'm 5'1 and 20 yrs old. My current weight is 142. I want to get to 125 and then see if i want to go any smaller. I wear a size 10-12 jeans.. i have no idea what my jean size will be when i am skinnier lol cause i have pretty wide hips. Anyone else have wide hips and like 120-125 ?what size jeans do you wear?. stupid question i know but it just makes me wonder lol0

4'11" here. I am aiming to get down between 115 and 125. I have a medium size frame so I look like a little kid if I go below 115 and heavy if I am over 125....being heavy up top doesn't help much either.0

wow!!! i'm 5'2" spot on, and i currently weigh about 204lbs! but i started at 233 (after my 2nd child, but i've had my 3rd now, so my exercise was staggered a bit!). and i've never really felt fat!!!
the lightest i've ever been was 80kgs (about 176lbs), and that was when i was a uni student working 2 jobs (1 in a bar lifting crates up flights of stairs, and the other was nursing). and looking at pictures i think i looked scrawny!!
my goals are mainly exercise driven (i want to be a runner!!), but i'm keeping an eye on my weight. i want to see what i look like at 176lbs again, so that's what i'd like to see on the scales.
i'm a stocky build (thanks dad!), but i seem to carry my weight on my boobs and thighs. and my stomach. erm and my butt!! i'm just a good all rounder i guess!! haha.
i have NO desire to get down to 110lbs!! but i'd like to get into the 'overweight' part of the BMI!!! i'd love for my clothes to be a UK 14 trousers, and 16 tops. for me, that would be awesome!
people have revived this post, and i wrote on it last year! this is what i wrote ^^^. and this is what i did! i'm now between 78-80kgs (170-176lbs). i have collarbones! i wear a UK size 14. and i run marathons! i'm so pleased i found this- my weight has not shifted for nearly a year and it's been really great to reflect on what i wanted to achieve, and knowing that i've done it. i'm pretty content with my current shape/size. but i would like to lose another 14lbs or so, just to see how it would look. but there's no worry about that because if i cant lose weight marathon training, i doubt i'm going to shift much when training finishes in 2 weeks time!0 -
5'2", 144 now. I am not sure of my goal, I am a foodie and I like having curves, so maybe 120. I carry my weight above my waist.
So, that's where I was a year and a half ago. I'm in a goal range of 115-119 - don't want to be in the 120s, don't want to be too thin. I have a 25 in waist. My boobs are smaller, but still ample.0 -
5 2 here... my GW is 120, im 138 now and all my family is telling me already that I look skinny.. no way!, my BMI its not healthy yet! (2 more pounds!), so I will continue with this till I achieve 120, which stills a healthy weight for me.0
-
I am 5'2 and am 99-101 pounds. My goal is 85 pounds.
seriously?..... too low, and not healthy at all.0 -
I am 5'1. I weigh 150 now but my goal weight is 120-125. Short girls rock!!0

I'm 4'11 and currently 146lbs (size 14 uk), this is the heaviest ive ever been....even after having my 2 kids I wasnt this size..... However, I recently went through a traumatic event and i've put on nearly a stone and a half.
My idea weight would be to get down to 8 and a half stone....This means I need to lose around 20lbs. I do think that if I got to this, id look absolutely tiny....but it would take me out of the BMI overweight bracket. I guess i'll just see how im doing on the way there and if I get to a size that im happy with, then i'll work on maintaining it.
Would love to add some of you on here that have been using and losing for a while, as im keen to see how you do it. Please add me! :bigsmile:0 -
Hi - I'm 5'2'' too! I'm going for 117 pounds (I live in the UK so we'd say 8 and a half stone). Haven't had a great day today but I'm trying to stay motivated! Good luck to all the short girlies out there! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0

I am 4'11 and 1/2 " (gotta be exact right? lol) and right now I'm 105, which was my first goal...I'm a size 2 and some 0s are fitting me. I have 6 more vanity lbs. to lose which would get me to 99 lbs...for me, super skinny. At that weight size 0s would be comfortable and even loose. I'm debating on it because when you're that small it's hard to find clothes that fit and look good without shopping in the kids' section!! My heaviest weight was 135 which was way too heavy for my frame, and only 3 lbs. less than I weighed 9 months pregnant with both my children. I feel pretty good between 105-110.0
-
I'm also 5'2 with a curvy frame. For now, my goal is 135. I'll see what I look like when I get there and decide then whether or not I need to lose more!
this is me too...I'm always going to have the curvy hips..it's inherited. So when I was 135 years and years ago that's where I looked my best so it's my goal to get back to there0 -
5'1.5" here. going for 120-125. will see how I feel when I get to 125 (I'm not far away now), may work on building muscle rather than the number on the scale when I get to 125.
The day I see some tone on my stomach rather than just wobble is the day I'll know I've reached my goal :-)0 -
I'm 5'1 and 107 lbs. I have a very small frame.0
-
I wonder what my 4'11" sister should weigh? No joke, not 5ft tall. Looks funny next to her 6'2" husband.0
-
im 5'2" as well! and im about 95lb im a dancer0
-
I'm 5'1 and 107. It is pretty thin, prObably thinner than mos people aim for but I like it. I lost 52 pounds, so keep changing goals until I was happy. My original goal was about 115.0
-
I'm 5' and currently hitting the scales at 182 (gasp i know) ... I'm going to be happy when the scale finally hits 150... My bmi is 95 - 128 pounds and I'm not sure yet... I'm just going to take it 5 pounds at a time.0
-
I'm 5'1" and 95kbs. I have small bones and am pretty curvy. The two posters who are my height and weigh 107 look thinner than I do. I agree that it's all in your frame.0
-
I am 5'1 and my goal is 130! I have no desire to be stick thin and it would be hard with my muscular legs to be a stick. I do feel that 110 is too thin, I like having some curves!!0
-
my goal is 105 .
i spent 27 years of my life getting up to 93-95lbs and trying to eat pb and BOOST to get my weight up. then suddenly...it stayed. and STAYED. so now im at 120 and I can see IT everywhere on me.
I wouldnt want to go below 100 ever, but I really would like to lose this excess that has 'suddenly' crept up (less work, less stress, more sitting, and eating....)0 -
Well I'm super excited to see some short girls on here! I'm 5.0.
It's such a struggle with weight being soo short. I carry most of my weight in my boobs and in my hips.
I'm ready to shed 25 pounds. Im currently 135, and I'd love to be around 110.
Last year I was at 121, and I've just lost my drive to keep pressing on. I'm ready to get it back and loose this weight once and for all!0 -
Yes....thread for short people! I'm 5'1 and currently weigh 150 pds. In the last two years I have gained 30 pounds. I broke my wrist playing dodgeball at my daughers b-day party and its been down hill since. I had an excuse to quit exercising. I HATE to exercise. However, I like to walk on my treadmill or around the block.
I simply gave up. I have yoyo dieted since having kids. I have to get back on track for me. I don't like how I feel in my clothes or what I see in the mirror. At 120 pds I was told I looked too skinny, I'm shooting for 125 and I'll go from there. I carry my weight ALL over. Seriously, I have gone up a shoe size as well. Lol0 -
I am 5'1 with a goal weight of between 120-125. I have been thinner than that, closer to 110, and I was told I looked like a bobble head. And hell, I like having curves - just not of the pure fat variety, lol.0
-
I'm 5' 3" and my goal is low 120s. I was only there once in my life (during an intense swim season my sophomore year of high school). I just found a picture of myself from then and I can't wait to get back there!0
-
I'd like to point out that I still have curves.0
-
Hey! I am 5'2'' and wondering who else is a shortie out there !
AND WHAT IS YOUR GOAL WEIGHT?
I'm always wondering if I am setting my goal weight as healthy FOR ME.
Healthy weight for us = 110 -135 correct? Does anyone else think this is low?
I am 131 now and I just changed my goal from 115 to 125 - I am curvy and think I'd look silly that small - 110, really??
I know everyone is different - so what is your goals !?
I am 5'1" and curvy. (Big booty and bog boobs. Lol...) My goal weight is between 125 - 130 and currently I have 20 lbs to lose.0 -
Another 5'2" woman here!
All through college I weighed around 108 lbs.
Then after college I gained 7-8 pounds every year.
When I hit 150 pounds, I took out my navel ring because it didn't look good to me anymore.
My weight got up to 187 a couple years ago.
My weight now is down to 162 pounds. My body fat percentage is 43% - really high.
The goal now is to build muscle and lose fat by eating healthy and exercising (including bodyweight exercises - then lifting).
I carry my weight in my hips, butt, thighs.... even at a low weight. When I was 108, I was very flat-chested and don't want to get back to that weight.
My goal weight for now is 145... I haven't been that weight for over 10 years and can't picture exactly how that will look.
Once I get there, I will reevaluate!0 -
im 5 ft 2 and a half! currently 147, goal 135ish0
-
Guy here , but i stand 5`5.0
-
I'm also 5'2 with a curvy frame. For now, my goal is 135. I'll see what I look like when I get there and decide then whether or not I need to lose more!
Ditto :-)0
