    Pork & potatoes

4 pork chops (with or without bone)
3 lg. potatoes peeled & cubed (yukon or baking)
    1 can corn
    1 onion cut up
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Put potatoes, corn, & onion in crockpot. Sprinkle w/garlic powder & pepper to taste (or whatever seasonings you like. I don't like salt). Season both sides of pork chops w/garlic powder & pepper and layer them on top of potato mixture. Spread can cream of mushroom soup on top of pork. Cover & cook 7-8 hours. You don't need to add liquid because it will make it's own.

    YUM!

I found that a can of chow mein vegetables have only 35 cals per serving. Put some shrimp or chichen strips in with it and eat it with some brown rice. Low Low calorie dinner!

Make your life even easier and on some random Saturday or Sunday, buy a ton of chicken breasts. Put however many chicken breasts you normally need for a meal in a gallon size bag. Then you can go ahead and add all kinds of different things to the different bags. I do one where you add pineapple and nutmeg (jamaican) this is great to serve over rice. Any of the cream soups work. Italian dressing and grill seasoning is a good one. Anyway, any typical crockpot recipe and put all the ingredients in the bag and freeze. I usually write whats in there in Sharpie. Then in the morning all I have to do is pop it in the microwave on defrost for a miunte or two to loosen it from the bag and then throw it in the crockpot on low.

Ooo, like this idea!! I'm going to do this this week! I'll have meals all ready to go! Thanks!!

Hello I just came across this web site and decided to join. I would like to share this Crockpot recipe that I' found online when i did the WeightWatcher program.

    Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, uncooked, frozen, boneless, skinless
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can 98% fat-free cream of chicken soup (feel free to use the cream of mushroom here instead)
1 (16 ounce) container nonfat sour cream
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
    Directions
1Place the frozen chicken in the bottom of a crockpot.
2Mix the other ingredients together in a separate bowl and pour it over the chicken.
3Cover and cook on low for 7 hours

I love it:) Very yummy !

I did this for my wife yesterday with some egg noodles. It was good, I was happy. It was slightly dry, so I would recommend adding a little water. Next time, we are going to add some fresh mushrooms about 30 minutes before we eat.

    WHITE CHICKEN CHILI

1 box of chicken stock (32 oz)
3 can of white, (great northern), beans, left undrained
5 cups of pre cooked chicken
1 jar of salsa (16 oz)
8 oz of shredded pepperjack cheese, or your favorite blend
    2 tsp of ground cumin
    2 cloves of garlic
    pepper to taste
    Garnishes of your liking

(NO SALT BECAUSE OF THE SALT CONTENT IN THE STOCK)

Place all of the ingredients in a crockpot and cook on high until the cheese is melted. Usually about 4 hours so all the ingredients can mix together. This is a fabulous chili and is great as left overs.

    TEQUILA PORK

    1 (4 lb) pork tenderloin
1/4 cup of tequila (alcohol cooks out)
    1 lime, juiced
2 tsp of Mrs Dash original seasoning
1 (4 oz) can of diced green chilies

Place the pork tenderloin in the crockpot. Pour the tequila and lime juice over the pork. Sprinkle with the seasoning and top with the green chilies. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. You can either cut this into pieces and have with a side dish and a vegetable. But, I like to take two forks and shred it to pieces and then serve it with tortillas and standard taco toppings or over corn chips as nachos.

    PORK Carnitas

    2 pounds pork shoulder
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (about 1 large orange)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 large lime)
    7 cloves garlic (whole intact)
    1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
    1 tablespoon cumin
    1/2 cup beef broth
    corn tortillas
sour cream, salsa, sliced avocado (optional)

    The Directions.

Use a 6 quart slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the salt and cumin. Rub mixture all over the pork, then plop into the slow cooker. Add whole garlic cloves. Squeeze on the citrus, and pour the beef broth evenly over the top.

Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork shreds quite easily with a fork. If your meat is still fully intact after 8 hours, remove and cut into chunks, then return to the crock and flip to high for about an hour or two.
Shred meat fully and serve on warmed corn tortillas with desired toppings.

I tried the salsa chicken everyone has been mentioning and it was great! I added Mexicorn to it though.

Here is my recipe for BBQ Pulled Chicken

    Serves 4

    2 Chicken Breasts
10 Tablespoons of BBQ Sauce (I use sweet baby ray's honey bbq)
6 oz of Diet Dr Pepper (half a 12oz can...you could probably sub diet coke)

Place chicken in crock pot. Pour 5 tablespoons of sauce over each breast. Pour in dr. pepper around breasts.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Shred chicken and stir.
About 150 cals or less per serving depending on what sauce you use,how large chicken, ect.

This is to be served on toasted bun or bread (not included in calorie count). I like to sprinkle a little cheese on top as well.
