I really like what you wrote. I just started on MFP and sometimes it is so tempting to make an "exception" for just today because it's hard to imagine the big picture. I like your idea of putting small notes of the things you have gained from your progress. Peaks and valleys, but still moving forward! Thanks for your comment.0

Good luck to you!
One of the most impressive before and afters I've seen!! Thanks for sharing, and you look lovely!0 -
My highest was 345, currently at 293. Still have lots of work ahead of me. Yes it can be discouraging to think how far I still have to go, but think of the pay off once you get there. Enjoy the things you haven't been able to enjoy. With the progress, it seems like every week there is something new to enjoy. I went from being immobile, to walking 3 miles in a matter of 4 months. I can do about 20-25 seconds of jumping jacks. These are small things that I can celebrate, and be over the moon about. May not be as good as others, but it is surely making me my best me.
Always looking for more friends. Anyone who wants to can add me.0 -
I started at 364 about 8 yrs ago. I lost some and kept it off, stared again a few months ago and I am down 86lbs. I don't have any big photos on the laptop sadly. Will scan some on if I can borrow a scanner : ) I think your stories are so inspirational. I still have 140 lbs to go, so in for the long haul!0

Not anymore, but I was 241 to start out! I am 168 ish now and 5 foot 11. It can be done xx
how did you get rid of your stretch marks?0 -
I think I may have already replied to this topic but I'm too lazy at the moment to find out. I started at 315 lbs and now I am at 232 lbs. My pics are in my profile if you want to see. I still have about 53 pounds *I think* to get to my goal weight of 180.0

You're all amazing!!! I love this thread!0

I started at 353. not sure the first pic is my highest but it's pretty close. Second pic is 90 lbs lost. I'm now down to 238.5 after 510 days. It's taken me a little longer but I didn't gain it all in a year or 2 years and I don't mind too much (most of the time) that it's coming off that slow.

This thread has been my inspiration lately! Any time I feel like quitting I like to check this thread out and it reminds me I am not alone and I can stay on track and I will get there eventually! Bumping to check again later. :happy:0
