Well, this is a great and wonderful thing you have done for yourself. If you want to try something new to push yourself then start doing triatholons. You could start out just doing tri sprints and move up to tri olympic distance which I am moving up to this summer, then you move up to half iron man then a full iron man. This will take you years but the sport is very addictive and has really motivated me. Good luck.0

British military fitness run groups all over the UK and have different levels, from beginner to experienced they are also running loads of taster sessions through out January...so could see if you like it or not.
Or if you like team sports have you ever heard of Gaelic football? Its a cross between Rugby, basketball and football... Google it. Its very physical and training sessions (at my club especially) is some secret form of torture but very very good if you want weight training building up cardio work outs and to increase stamina.
