    Also a 1200 calorie girl...started first week of December and am down 21 pounds...slow and steady but its working.

    I'm about 1400 cal gal but I'm still BFing 3 times per day - so it works out to about 1200 net.

    Day 13 - 8lbs lost.

    I try my best to stay at 1200 calories...although it's difficult to stay in there during this time of year. Would love input from others...!!! Thanks!!!

  • I've been trying to stick to 1200 calories. I always go over but I usually burn it off. I need help seeing what someone in this range eats since it's becoming difficult to stick to it. I feel limited but this is what myfitness suggested. Add me if you can help :)

    Can I just say that until I started myfitnesspal I had no clue how many empty calories I was blowing through?! I mean serious, a ton!

  • I also only eat 1200 calories a day. Sometimes its hard for me to eat them all, but that's because I get so busy during the day that I forget to eat. You can't add me too. I need more friends here as well.

  • I just started this and am at the 1200 goal too. Very excited to see how well it works! But like anything, you get out what you put in. I see it more like behavior modification, not a diet...and in it for the long haul!

    I know what you mean!!! Today at lunch my husband commented that I didn't get my normal food, and my reply: That's because I would eat all my calories at one meal! or more! Crazy! But now that I'm watching total calories, I feel better and so far I'm having good results! Let's all stick it out and reach our health/weight goals!!!

    HI! My name is Lani and I am roughly on the 1200 calories. Was at about 1100 and then did some research and saw that 1100 was too low. This is my third day so far and I am already noticing results.

    I have a massive amount of weight to lose.

    I am currently 111.4kg and am aiming for 77kg.

    mine is around that too i try to maintain that bc i want to keep my metabolism up n I know too low is just not helping me and doing as it was always before just helping me store more to fat. I do not add to that even if i get more, more calories for activity n exercise, workouts. Ive only been on about a week come monday or so. But
    Id love for you to add me as a friend.
    I am looking for anyone to help keep me on track, encouragement, support. and I will definitely do all i can to do the same to anyone who wants to look me up n be my friend as well.

  • Feel free to add me as well. I used to be very good at eating around 1200 calories daily, but over the course of the past two months I have slowly fallen off track. I began to only eat around 600 a day and still would exercise burning more than half of that, making myself so exhausted. At the time I didn't realize how little food I was eating but then I all of a sudden became starving and ate and date because I had deprived myself from food for so long. My problem now is out of habit I don't eat enough through out the day and at night Im starving and tend to gravitate more towards unhealthy food. Now I am trying to get back to about 1200 calories and start losing weight again.
