I made some Dark chocolate protein brownies :-) No bake, and tastes amazing!

Bottom layer: Pitted dates, oats, wallnuts, dark chocolate almond milk
Top layer: Dark chocolate, cookies n creme whey protein, pitted dates, wallnuts, dark chocolate almond milk

These look amazing and I have all these ingredients so am excited to try to make them, do you have the exact quantities of each by any chance? Or do you do it by sight?

Also do you think it'd work with prunes instead of dates?

It might, give it a try! I tried so many variations for e.g. peanut/ almond butter instead of dark chocolate, honey instead of dates, different nuts, different protein flavours, etc. they were all good.

as for quantities I personally do by sight, but here's what I used last time:

    Bottom layer:
    400 g dates
    140g oats
    100g wallnut
    100g milk

    Top layer:
140g dark chocolate (microwave for a min to melt it)
    100g dates
    200g protein
    50g oats
    50g walnut
    200g milk

1st you press the bottom layer hard into a try (big enough to make 10 - 12 pieces) then spread top layer and I like to keep it in the freezer overnight

made cupcakes with my housemate; cinnamon, orange and walnut.

    I've been a bit nauseous the last few days, which is common with my Crohn's. Sometimes find I'm able to eat if I haven't prepared the food myself. So here;

I had a killer breakfast and lunch today, but no camera was handy and I devoured them before I thought to grab my mobile. But honestly - nothing is better for lunch than a spinach salad, with leftover honey ham, spicy mustard vinaigrette and sriracha with pico. It was the best.

Dinner was a madras spiced lentil soup with spinach and cherry tomatoes, and a poached egg.
