you know two of those are totally photoshopped, and the other's are suspect.

They are done by professional photographers. So yes they are obviously photoshopped to smooth skin and remove some imperfections. I know for sure the last one is a plus size porn star names London Andrews... you can't Photoshop that if you know what I mean. That isn't the point however.

The photoshop goes beyond smooth skin. There is NO WAY the waist on couple of those are real.

actually they can, the majority of people are going to take what is said at face value. it says women are supposed to have curves with the emphasis on women

the fact is fat people try to justify their body type at the expense of skinnier people and skinnier people are looked upon as this evil thing cause they have

1) been blessed with great genetics

or

I probably fit the big up and below category but I agree with you. Lets face it; what is being touted as curvy is just plain fat photoshopped to remove imperfections.

Men: Like women, we tend to have varied tastes:

Some like thin women
Some like muscular women
Some like tall women
Some like short women
Some like really fat women
Some like sorta fat women
Some like women with giant boobs
Some like women with hardly any boobs at all.

This is something that bothers me a little. Aside from the girl in the bathing suit by the lifeguard shack, I am hoping that these are all shopped.

I mean if they're not, that's great- but a lot of these imply-- perhaps even THROUGH the Photoshop process- that men expect this massively curvy woman who is still toned like a size 2.

If someone is curvy, I doubt they'd have super flat abs, no cellulite and perfect proportion everywhere except the hips. And even the hips-- come on, no one has hips that look like that.

This isn't real. Even if these weren't shopped--which most of them undoubtedly were-- this isn't what curvy usually looks like. Sometimes curvy has some cellulite. Sometimes curvy has a poof above the belly button. Hell, sometimes skinny even has that. I think REAL is better than skinny and better than curvy.

You took the words out of my mouth. These women aren't real...and aren't even close. I AM a size 2, and I have cellulite and bumpy skin because I'm not perfect even at 130 lbs. A woman with that much weigh on her WILL NOT have smoothed and toned skin like that. Yeah, women don't have to be skinny to be attractive, but these pictures grossly over estimate how nice their figure is/their skin is. It isn't real. NO ONE looks like that, and then there are men who expect thicker women to look like that....and they don't. And this is also why men expect even smaller women to be perfect....but they aren't. Women have natural imperfections all over the skin, lumps, bumps, disproportionate boobs, larger arms, larger waist, CELLULITE....no matter how small, cellulite is almost impossible to get rid of. Displaying a women of this size or as a 2 is just a lie. Period.

We are all here for a common goal to loose weight and get in shape! Some people like curvy women, some like skinny women, personally I don't care what people's preferences are
All I am saying is there is no perfect woman and society trying to push what they think is hot on everyone is wrong.

We are who we are and we should get fit be healthy and worry about obesity not if we have the perfect airbrushed body!
