My boobs. I don't even care that they are smaller. But the right one hasn't caught up to the left one. It's not really noticeable unless I'm in a bathing suit....but...it's bathing suit season :-(

Here's mine- people telling me that I "don't need to lose any more weight."

I get this all the time and it drives me crazy.

I had two ladies at work tell me I needed to stop because it was making my legs hurt.

It drives me crazy too. And if one more person asks me if I've been ill (because clearly I don't look like someone who has the self-control to take charge of their eating habits and lose weight, apparently),or have an eating disorder, etc., I'm gonna scream. I also hate it when people see my size now, assume I've always been this size and say I don't understand the difficulties of losing/maintaining weight because I'm thin.

The other one that's started to frustrate me is "how'd you lose the weight", implying I took a magic pill or got shots or whatever else they're imagining (as opposed to those showing a genuine interest in how I did it, which I'll reference below). My response has become more snippy as time has gone on. These days usually goes something like this. "I finally accepted the reality that I was either going to have to eat less, move more, or both. And so I did. Both."

Now, there are people who are sincere in asking how I did it, and of course they don't get the smart aleck answer. I'm sincere and explain food pairing because of my reactive hypoglycemia, calorie reduction, BMR, TDEE, etc.

~~> I cant' afford new clothes..
~~> when I do breakdown and purchase new clothes they are baggy quickly.. I'm back down to 2 pairs of trouser and have to hold up my gym pants during my classes..
~~> My new diet costs more then my old diet did
~~> People who say.. "how can you possibly lose weight when you eat like that??" Yes i know my meals are large.. but they are half the calories as yours.. and when tell them that, they don't believe me
~~>People who say "oh did you lose it from when you were sick?" (um yea.. I was sick in November.. i've lost 45 pounds since then.. if that's due to illness may I never get better.. LMAO)
~~>"You don't need to lose weight"
    ~~> Paying for the gym
~~> Constantly underestimating how much food i need to bring to work (like today.. i'm out of snacks and i'm hungry!!)
~~> I was told 3 times by 3 differnet people, that they would "bring me shopping to help me find proper clothes" They don't like that my clothes dont' fit properly and are constantly trying to tell me I don't know how to dress.. I have much better style then they do.. LOL I just won't buy it until i'm done losing weight!
~~> "what diet are you following" repsonse no diet, just eating healthy and exercise *disbelieving look on their face* then.. oh you'll never keep it off without a diet.. (um hello??!!?!?!?)
~~> After eating a brownie at a party thing.. How does that fit into your diet??? (not on a diet!!!)

    1. finding ways to afford new clothes
    2. avoiding weird comments from weird co-workers
    3. the feeling of being "in between"...not quite lost the weight...still working on it...

This! I have lost about 32lbs and I am still working on it feeling like it will never happen

I concur with the expense of a new wardrobe, but I use charity shops, freecycle ads and trade with my friends.
My biggest problem is that I have the biggest wardrobe of shoes ever (40+ pairs) and my damn feet have shrunk!!
I put heel grips in the ones that I absolutely cant live without and trade the others on Ebay.

I'm with everyone on the clothes issue! I don't want to buy anything new 'cause my goal is to get down two more sizes. I knew my pants wouldn't fit but now I need shirts and undergarments too!! I did have three pair of pants taken in, cost be $40 but worth it. And I had saved a few items of the next size down years ago (like 10 years), most were out of style but I was able to salvage a skirt, and one each pair of pants and shorts. Last week I had to retire my favorite pair of dress pants.

But on a plus note the fact that I don't want to buy new till I get down to a 10 helps me to stay motivated!!!

The other one that gets me - people who say "you look great, you don't need to loose weight". Hello, what blinders do they have on? I'm 40 lbs overweight and just inside the obese guidelines. And it's as much about being healthy as losing the weight. Maybe it's jealousy?

    Things flap now.
Arms flap. Thigh meat flaps. Stomach flap flaps.

I do Jillian's 30 day shred and it sounds like I have an audience clapping for me. loudly. :blushing:

Some clothes don't fit, others do. Some things are waaaaaay too big and fall off me, others fit weird, buy new clothes and they fit weird...Not sure of my size, just dont want to find out...somewhere between 18-20 (19.5, maybe?)

People ask me "oh, youre trying to lose weight? why?" hello, you dont see this 282lb im carrying around? it aint for fashion!

People see I'm losing and say: "oh, what pill are you on?" this new one called "diet and exercise" man, its working like a charm!

Fellow fat people see me working out or eating right and they say: "oh, I cant do that. Im just gonna cut back and ill lose" while biting burger or inhaling fries. Yeah. Let me know how that works out.

People who make stupid comments about my goal. i tell them that I want to be 165, or a size 6-8, whichever one comes first (I was a solid 10 at 185) and they say "oh thats too small, you will be good at about a 14" yeah, thats still overweight and unhealthy. thats not what I want.

I just want to wear a tshirt that says: "yes, im losing weight. No, you cant comment. Have a great day!"

    I need that shirt!

I like shopping for clothes, so that doesn't suck. But the lighter wallet does suck. ;)

Getting sick. I've had more colds this year than normal. I think losing weight might be stressing my body out a little.

I agree. I love hitting up the thrift stores for the hunt of new clothes, but I hate spending money on them. At least it's cheaper than paying full retail.

Getting used to your new body;adjusting to your new image in the mirror. It does scare me sometimes and I have to take a step or two back.
Comments from others-- some are good, some are bad (ie. But you didn't have to lose weight!)

People thinking that it's now OK to criticise your "fat self". They kept quiet while you were big, but now you're smaller they can let slip what they REALLY thought. It's quite hurtful! You know, that was still me!

I can't even find 'exercize' clothes for bigger gals. It's like..."I'm getting there". Do I have to only be an xl to work out? Seriously?

-My boobs don't look the best right now. First they were affected by weight gain and now from weight loss. Poor things.
-The clothes issue is starting to affect me. Before i took an 11/12 us sizes. Recently I got down to 9/10 and bought shorts from american eagle but now they are getting loose. They are too expensive to abandon so I'm stuck right now :(
-I actually haven't had a problem with eating because my metabolism has greatly improved. I go to my boyfriends house and pig out on junk food for a week and end up actually losing 3 pounds by the time I come home.
-Hearing people say that I look fine or why am I losing weight.
-OH and people saying "Wow you lost weight! You look so much better!" Um... what was I before....?

My thighs have very loose skin now & I have to wear a skort with my size 12 bathing suit. That is my only complaint. I love being thin. I wish I knew about high protein & low carbs when I was 30 instead of 50. Oh well I'm happy.

Things that suck about losing weight, Not losing it fast enough!!! OR finding all the weight that everyone else has lost. I am changing my diet from pop and pizza, to water and veggies not happy. It is had to have a super fit husband who can lose weight without even trying, and working my butt off to lose one pound. I am determined but want the difference in a hurry. Oh and by the weigh I know I have gained weight and would like for my parents to quit pointing it out.. Those are my issues feel much better now.

Fat is an excellent insulator. I lost 40 lbs. of insulation and I've been freezing cold all winter. I'm going to be one of those little old ladies who brings a sweater to the grocery store.

I'm just 23 and I bring a sweater to the grocery store!

The condacending comments, and mock concern, no doubt about that!

If I hear "why do you feel you have to loose weight" (was starting out at BMI 28 at this point and feeling terrible with medical/insulin issues), "who are you doing this for" (HELLO!! Me! Doing it to feel well and good about ME)', "your putting yourself under too much pressure, here have this plate of chips to prove to me you are eating" (WTF! I'm not being force fed rubbish which is harmful to my medical condition to shut someone up who's too lazy to loose weight so wants to stop me)

I started out thinking I'd try and get back down to within 10-14lb of my pre-pregnancy weight. I thought I'd be realistic about getting my body back. However I've also heard "you can't expect to get your pre baby body back you know" despite declaring my goal to be a stone over prepreg (at 4'11 14lb is quite a chunk of weight) SO many times it's like a red flag to a bull and I'm so motivated to change my goal to 7-10lb over prepreg weight and see how I go.

With a ton of hard work why shouldn't I get MY figure back! Just because others have had babies and used that to justify scoffing constantly why should I!

I think nothing brings out the worst in some people like seeing another person excell where they have failed to succeed, or in some cases failed to even try. Successfully loosing weight seems to put you in the limelight a bit whether you want it too or not.

probably the ONLY benefit of gaining weight, was that my boobs looked fabulous! i loveee being thinner, but i loved how my girls looked when i was overweight! but a little push-up nowadays def doesn't hurt!

and i shop like crazy! i've always been a crazy shopper though because i love it! i buy mainly tops and dresses. but since most of my clothes have a little stretch, or are meant to hang a little loose, when i lose more weight, they'll still fit! =D and most of my tops/dresses can be belted in to look super cute and flow-y when i finally lose this last 20 lbs!

considering this was the biggest i ever got, i still have all my clothes leading up to this point! so i've got lots of jeans and tops and dresses that i would DIE to fit into again! but it's gonna make me really sad when my 2-3 pairs of favorite but expensive fat girl jeans don't fit anymore. =(

    * Spending money on new clothes and they don't fit for more than a few weeks.
    * My head not catching up with my new body - What size am I?????
    * Can I afford to keep up the gym membership?? and what will happen if I don't.

    But:-
I love being lightest and trimmest I've been in 20 years.
I love being 18 months short of 60 and taking up running.
I love that I've inspired my beloved and our son to jump on the bandwagon.

    - Being cold ALL THE FREAKING TIME :explode: It's winter over here in Aussie, and I live out in the country. There have been nights where I've had to wear three layers to bed and turn myself into a human sausage roll with sheets, multiple blankets, and the duvet. Granted, I still found the weather unpleasant when I was heavier, but at least I had that little bit more insulation!

    - The fact that losing a noticeable amount of weight seemingly opens up every aspect of your lifestyle to criticism. Have a salad, you'll be mocked for being healthy. Put cheese on your pasta, and you'll be told it'll make you fat. Um, who invited the food police?!

    - Finding out how difficult maintenance actually is. Then there's the realization that even once you hit the goal number on the scale, you don't magically obtain a new sense of self-confidence. And that you still have a pudgy belly. And that you really should have started strength training a long time ago. Sigh...just because the learning curve is necessary, doesn't make it suck any less.

    - People who like to go on about how you've lost sooo much weight and that it's sooo good you did because you were sooo gross before. My heaviest weight was 70kg (154lbs), and they don't seem to realize the person standing before them now is the same one who got her stuff together and took control of her own well-being.

    - I HAVE NO BUTT

^THIS for me too!! My family drives me crazy about the food thing…assuming ALL I eat is salad, and then trying to get me to eat more of 'this', saying it's healthy, but then telling me eating my Feta cheese will make me fat. UGH…let me BE!

And also, no butt here…never really had one, but now I care a little more…flat booty is no fun. And I've been squatting and lunging like there's no tomorrow…maybe one day it'll look cute and perky. Maybe...lol.
