It's going well. I thought the summer would be the perfect time to get 2 hours cycling in a day, but now it's getting to 30 degrees I must admit the temptation to get on an air conditioned train to commute to work is certainly getting stronger! That and the aching thigh muscles.. Lucky we have a shower at work as I'm pretty hot by the time I get in in the mornings! It's only 14 miles or so but this heat certainly makes it feel longer. At least I get to take in a nice stretch of the Thames and Hyde park on the way in, and as my inspiration is getting fit for my little girl, and as it seems to be working, I'm determined to not hop on the train until it's freezing cold and dark in the mornings!
