    I love being accountable! It helps keep me motivated! My exercise minutes were down today, but I did move! 25 minutes of walking + 35 minutes of Billy Bank's Boot Camp Abs. Awesome!
    Tomorrow morning I am meeting friends to go biking. Our goal is 18 leisurely miles.

    This week:

    Monday: Strength training 75 min + walk 25 min = 100
    Tuesday: Run:35 min, walk 20 min + 60 min = 115
    Wednesday: Strength training 75 min, walk 25 min = 100
    Thursday: Run: 30 min, walked 30 min
    Friday: Walk: 25 min, Boot Camp Abs: 35 min

    Total: 435

    Monday (8/30) - 60 total minutes, 500 calories. About 16 minutes jogging, the rest walking at a fast pace - total of 4.15 miles.
    Tuesday (8/31) - 65 total minutes, 505 calories. 15 minutes jumping rope (off and on), 50 minutes walking 3.44 miles.
    Wednesday (9/1) - 40 total minutes, 365 calories. About 16 minutes jogging, the rest walking - total of 2.82 miles.
    Thursday (9/2) - 45 total minutes, 200 calories. About 5 minutes on the elliptical as a warm-up, 5 minutes rowing, 25 minutes lifting weights, finished up with 10 more minutes rowing. No mileage to count from tonight.

    Friday(9/3) - 60 total minutes, 580 calories. Walked (with occasional jogging) 4.13 miles

    Total for week so far: 270 minutes
    Left to go: 90 minutes

    14.54 total miles for the week.

    a1schwei - Wow! That Friday run is impressive. I can barely jog for 15 minutes, let alone run for 2 hours - I can't wait until I have the stamina to do something like that!

    thanks!!! i'm pretty proud of it myself :) its been a long time coming...i am training for a half marathon and never did i think that it would be possible for me to even think of running one!!! but once you get the running bug its hard to resist!!! keep up the hard work...if i can do it so can you!!!! :)

    moved it at the beach. Swam for 20 min, walked for 30 then did all kinds of handstands, water twirls, jump ups like a 10 yr old! Man I had fun!!

  • WOW! Everyone is really moving it . Just posting weekly.....moved 402 minutes in week 1 (need to update my ticker). Didn't exercise yesterday b/c my body was very fatigued after hiking for 2 1/2 hrs in the foothills of the Appalachians. My calf muscles are still sore, but will try to get my 30 day shred in today. Good luck towards another great week!

    Look at how good everyone did!!! I did not complete the 360 this week; but, kids start school this week and the means the days are mine again....wooo hooo

    I definitely need to kick it up several notches this week...

    Goals for this week: 360 minutes of exercise, 22 miles walked/jogged (I'll count the treadmill at the gym, but not the elliptical)

    Monday (9/6) - Walked to our local healthy food store - 6.15 miles round trip, 103 minutes, 715 calories

    Totals for the week: 103 minutes / 6.15 miles
    Left to go this week: 257 minutes / 15.85 miles

    I'm going to keep the goal of working out 360 mins and burning 3500 cals again this week. I start back to school tomorrow so Lord knows what is in store for me. I'm trying to remain positive though!

    MON: Ran/Walked- 52 mins/690 cals

    GOAL: 360 mins/3500 cals
    REMAINING: 308/2810

    08/30: 40 mins Step aerobics
    08/31: 95 mins Gym Training (Strength training, C25K-W2D1, biking)
    09/01: 20 mins Aerobics
    09/02: 100 mins gardening, 105 mins gym training (same as Tuesday)
    09/04: 55 mins Aerobics
    09/05: 101 mins at the gym (only workout time of course)

    Without the gardening that's a total of 416 mins.

    Yesterday I did 30 mins of Step Aerobics.

    I weighed in yesterday and hadn't lost anything since last week's weigh-in, and I know its probably due to not eating as good as I should have this last weekend. So I am making it a point to workout more this week than I have the last few weeks. It'll be hard, but I think it'll make me feel better and not so guilty about having one weekend of not being so obessed with weight loss and calorie counting. I guess that's what I get for thinking I was doing so good. Oh well....
