Just finished week 1 day 5, cardio! Next is lower focus in a few mins. i switched them because i heard lower focus take a toll on your legs so saving that for last  Loving that its only 25mins per workouts as i have 3 kids ages 8 and under. I burn 300C with cardio and around 230 with all the other workouts with my HRM.
i did the same thing.. switched them... dont know if it helped, still felt like jello after lol0 -
Another T25 workout down, anyone else suck at push ups as much as I do lol0
-
I will take pushups any day over more of those pivoting lunges!0
-
Agreed! Pivoting lunges are the bane of my existence! I sometimes just stick with squats to save my knees0
-
I would do lunges and squats all day to give up push ups, I have no upper body strength lol. I see that improving with t25 though0
-
Today was wk 2 day 2 and yep i suck at push ups. always have to do them on my knees. looking forward to speed 1.0 tomorrow because i know there will be stretch moves between each workout!0

I love the stretches in Speed 1.0, the burpees...not so much  Another day down though!0 -
Another day down..although I very nearly left it for this afternoon. After my dogs assumed some outside noise at 2am *had* to be an intruder, I was so sleepy I think I stumbled through the entire Speed workout. I might try a do-over this afternoon if I can muster the energy after work.0

I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning too. The alarm went off and my whole body said "nooo let's just stay in bed a little longer". So I ended up laying there till the last possible minute but finally got myself up and pushed play. Some days are really rough to get up and get straight into it.0

Hi Tammy. Just read your post. I have just started T25 this morning and it kicks *kitten* ! lol. Just wondered if maybe you knew roughly how many cals the workout burns ?0

haha Yes it def does! It depends on the workout but according to my heart rate monitor I've burned anywhere from 210 to around 340. My calories are getting a little lower now that I am used to some of the workouts. I'd say 250-300 average but everyone is different. Some people I've sen on here are 400+. Hope you continue to enjoy T25 and it works well for you!!0 -
P90X and Insanity grad here with a new baby in the house and very little time in my schedule...T25 is exactly what I needed. I started with the challenge group on 8/5 and plan on doing A/B/G and I'm following the nutrition guide to the letter.
The workouts are like cramming 48 minutes of insanity into 25 minutes. Love every second!
Good luck everyone.0 -
I agree with Tammy on calories burned. I wear my HRM and my burn ranges from 245-300 doing about 80% normal, 20% modified.0
-
Love this workout so much! I've recently finished Alpha and I'll be starting Beta next week, I'm enjoying a week off from all the exercise hehe. I just love the energy in the workouts. Good luck!0

Ordered T25 today and can't wait to start it. Currently I'm doing the 30DS, almost done with it and great results so far. I was going to do Insanity next but I like the idea of keeping my morning workout before work under 30 minutes so T25 it is!!0
-
This is a great overall workout. I can actually do this one better than insanity and I can keep up. I am going to go for the gold this time whoohoo!!!0
-
Push ups are not my favorite either, especially those oblique pushups! I am in week 5 and these are still super tough!0
-
Hi , I just completed day 4 , week 6 , and let me tell you , it doesn't get any easier ! It is a fast paced , strenuous workout that really does it's job , I like the change of new routines each day , I found during the first week I actually had to take time to practice some of the moves , I am not coordinated so found it hard to get my arms to move in one way while my feet went the other !0
-
I was pleased that cardio (week 2, day 4) felt great today! I've been modifying the whole time because I have horrible knees, but today I did some of the regular kicks and felt just fine (bought new sneakers last night and I think the change of shoe really helped)0

I'm noticing the same thing, it's getting easier. I do as long as I can with the regular moves but still end up doing modified toward the end. Looking forward to the day I can keep up with the regular the whole time! Looking forward to tomorrow's workout!0 -
Day 5 Week 2 - Lower Focus and Ab Intervals. WOW My abs are on fire and my legs feel like jello! Honestly though these are my two favorite workouts. I may not say that during the workouts though lol. At the end of week two I am feeling great. I can feel areas of my body changing, tightening up. I actually look forward to pushing play each morning. I can't believe that in a 25 minute per day workout can make me feel this good!! I'm looking forward to taking my measurements tomorrow and see how much has changed since last week. I can't wait to see what week 3 brings! How is it going for everyone else?0
-
I'm so impressed you fit both workouts in this morning! I got through lower body focus, leaving the abs for this evening. My legs feel like jello! But unlike last week, I was able to do all the lunges, even those darn pulses and holds, without taking a break. Yay for getting stronger legs!0
-
I've definitely been slacking on the T25 schedule this week. I've only gotten 2 workouts in so it's going to be back to backs for the next two days. My knees have been so sore since Wednesday when I did Lower Focus so I'm just icing and trying to take it a little easier , but I know my body and pain levels pretty well so I know I can get through the rest of the workouts. Legs are definitely getting stronger though!0

It was rough to get through both but I know how I am, the second would not have gotten done. And my motivation was to not have to do it tomorrow and sleep in haha. I noticed a lot of improvement as well on sticking through the lunges and everything. And UGH those pulses and holds... they kill me. I didn't think I would be able to walk upstairs after I was done. But it has gotten easier to not stop, loving the stronger legsI've definitely been slacking on the T25 schedule this week. That's good that you are able to still get the workouts in. I hope your knees get to feeling better, that makes it really rough! Take it easy!0 -
Legs are hurting from those leg lunge pulses!! Did some cleaning around the house and going to relax for the rest of the day. looking forward to seeing results tomorrow!0
-
Thanks!! I was putting under that but I wasn't sure:)0
-
I'm supposed to be on week 3 day 4, but I slacked badly
My issue is that crossfit 3x week as well and DOMS takes over. Right now it's my legs/butt from back squats and OH lunges - the week before my ankles and soleus from skipping. The high impact is really tough for me despite my crossfitting, so I'm usually doing the modifier :grumble:0 -
No lbs lost ending the 2nd week but I did loose 2 inches overall! :happy:0
-
Made it through week 2. I can tell I'm getting stronger in the workouts. I'm able to stick with the regular workout more and doing modified less. And also needing less breaks. At the end of week 2 no pounds lost but I did lose another 1/2 inch off my calves and 1/2 inch off my waist. This is in addition to the inches lost during the first week. Even though I didn't lose any lbs I'm still happy with the results. I can feel my body changing, I am noticing I have more energy and just feel better in general.
Bring on week 3 and more pain  Hows was week 2 for everyone else?0 -
Hi :-) I know I'm late to the game but I am just starting the Beta phase (on Monday!!) I am so excited to be moving on. I LOVE T25, and it is great that it is an intense 25 minutes. My very favorite one is Speed, but I am waiting to see which one in the beta phase I like. I ordered it the first day it came out! Feel free to add me anyone if you want to support each other :-)0
