Maybe you are looking in the wrong places. you are a pretty girl, you shouldn't have problems. If you try to hard that will scare them. so how cliche...but just be yourself, don't try too hard, and be nice. I work at a prison and there are about 120 single guys that work here with me. I can introduce you. And don't worry they are all very nice guys. They are not players or anything like that... they just haven't found the 'right' one yet, maybe it is you!

Hey! I'm from Indiana, too! I'll take the corn over the soybeans any day, though. Have you tried joining any local groups in your area? If you're a runner there are probably runner's groups. If you like to read I'm sure there are book clubs. Do you play cards? You can always find poker and euchre groups. Also, don't be afraid to ask a guy out, either. Even here in Indiana it's not considered too forward anymore.

It's true, it is really, really easy to meet any *kitten*, all you have to do is work out, put a skirt on, go out & talk to people. Meeting someone you could tolerate on a holiday & want to introduce to family is the challenge.

She's right, though... combine that with absolutely not giving a crap & you're set. I used to walk around in public in pyjamas. Or ok, ordinary boring clothes. No takers for that. At some point I decided dressing up like a lady might be fun. Between that & weight loss & growing out my hair it's been comparatively easy to meet just 'dudes', but again, more complicated to luck into meeting a good match. Note though, I seriously do not care about 'finding a boyfriend', if it happens it happens, am 100% good with being on my own. I think this makes it easier to talk to people in a free & spontaneous way.0 -
