    Last weekend was almost perfect weather for bike rides.
    On Saturday, I did another 40 miles ride that ends at a BBQ restaurant. I realized that I was very cold after the ride, and a hot shower felt really good.
    Sunday was warmer? 70 or so, and much better, but my left leg started to complain.
    That brings up to 156 out of 240. I'm a little ahead of 8miles/day but I know I cannot ride coming weekend so the pressure is still on.

    9/1 - 5.1 miles in the heat of the day.
    9/2 - 7.5 miles. Hot, but at least it was cloudy today.
    9/3 - rest day.
    9/4 - 5.2 miles.
    9/5 - 0 miles. Mowed instead.
    9/6 - 0 miles. Mowed instead.
    9/7 - 7 miles. Met a new person.
    9/8 - 4 miles and mowed for 30 minutes. :)
    9/9 - 5.6 miles.
    9/10 - 4.7 miles.
    9/11 - 3.9 miles. Hmmm. I think I need to reverse the current trend.
    9/12 - 0 miles. Just overwhelmingly fatigued today.
    9/13 - 7.4 miles.
    9/14 - 4.6 miles and that puts me at exactly halfway to my goal for the month.
    9/15 - 4.5 miles.
    9/16 - Rest day.


    MTD - 59.5 miles.
    Goal for September - 110 miles.
    Remaining - 50.5 miles.

    Not done much riding the last week or so, had to change the back wheel on my bike after the bus incident and it is still not quite right so it looks like I will have to change the cassette too, been struggling a bit with some pretty big changes in my life too but hopefully tonight's ride will kick start me again instead of sitting around feeling sorry for myself

    Well can't ride, at least for a couple days, but when I do it will have to be very light effort. Finally got my knee surgery done, and they said give it a day or two before getting back on. Still hoping I can do 4-5 miles a day, even if it is broken up to smaller runs.
    Hey I'm Back... Surgery went well, they removed a bone chip, not what I was expecting, but doing well. I got on my bike (Schwinn 220 recumbent bike) today to see how I'd do...

    PM ride 0.6 miles @ 35 rpms for 6 min. burned 16 cal.
    - not a record but a start, my knee not used to that yet but I cant just sit around.

    MTD - 180.3 miles
    Goal - 500 - (Not sure it will happen, but going to take a shot.)

    Met my original goal of 150 miles \o/ Think I'll up my goal now to 250 for the month. :)

    Quick after work ride. Still a bit tired after the 31 miles yesterday. tomorrow will be a rest day I think.

    I have a goal of 150 miles and so far I'm at 101 miles (don't count my kayak miles). This is only my second back on my bike after a long, long break. I have some out of town trips coming up so I'm going to try making the most of my other workout days. My last ride I was able to hit my highest average speed (18 mph) for an hour ride. The cool thing was that I didn't even realize it until after 30 minutes since the volume was turned down on my mobile phone. I'm love being back on my bike!
