    I have to go back and change my ticker in the wrong direction. I haven't been doing it right, even though I've been on MFP for soo long. I think that it is going to happen, this time!

    Ok, Ms Gold help me...how often do you do this? I really like it and always have but I was always confused on l how often and where to look for you. It did help me assess myself.

    I was surprised I did yesterday. Today is not over yet.

    REst and try to exercise but been busy so if I don't won't sweat it but try hard to!

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? walked to my mother's house and washed 11 of her windows while she was on vacation. I logged the walk but not the cleaning. Oh and I pulled a muscle in my back taking the air conditioner out of the window by myself...LOL
    What would I have done differently? track my dinner calories last night and not this morning
    What is today's personal goals? check in, track everything and maybe a walk. My daughter is home sick today.

    Sept 24 Tues. Starting weight 201.8 lbs. Hadn't weighed, tracked or checked in consistently for a while. I was pleasantly surprised when I had a loss on the scale this morning. That's good news as I must have changed my eating habits to lose without keeping track! woohoo! Didn't come close to my summer goal of 185 but I'm continuing to lose and that's a good thing! I'll make it my Fall goal! My first goal is to get to ONEderland!!!!

    Goldk - Good luck with the pinched nerve, I had one a few years ago from bone spurs in my neck - it was causing my hand to fall asleep often. They did tons of tests because they thought it might be a bigger problem with my spinal cord - in the end ibuprofen, physical therapy and some neck stretching contraption did the trick. The tests they did ended up being way worse than the pinched nerve. They did a myelogram test where they inject dye in the spinal fluid - and that made me sick for almost a week where I had to be flat on my back or I had horrendous headaches and nausea... that was the worst thing I have ever gone through (including child birth with no pain medications), being basically incapacitated and not knowing when or if I would ever get better. I hope it is much easier for you!

    I have this ongoing ticker pressure of not changing it, but lately things haven't been
    going that great. Still exercising everyday, that's not the problem. I motivate myself, kick my
    own butt and get moving everyday. I am doing lifting 3 times a week, new for me, and cardio
    3 times a week and the scale is still going up and down like a yo yo. I will keep at this,
    and never give up !!!!!! At least I know I am healthy and my age has something to do with it,
    but that is not an excuse. Join me ladies we can do this, New Fall, New plan, New Us !!
    That's my speech for this next few months. Let's do this thing !

    I know I have a degenerated disk in my neck. I had an MRI back in 2009. The neurologist scheduled another MRI for Monday and follow up appointment on Thursday. Hopefully I'll know soon how to take care of it. He said cardio - elliptical, walking is fine but stay away from yoga and weights until he figures out what's going on.

    What would I have done differently? Well, this morning I wouldn't have pressed snooze and completed an early morning workout
    What is today's personal goals? Recovery day, eat what I brough for lunch chicken and salad
    GW at the end of the Summer 2013 check in? 166 as of August 31st, I vowed not to weigh myself the month of September

    Sun- P90X shoulders and arms 52 mins and 34 mins of running
    Mon - 38 mins of Nice Autumn weather Running
    Tues - about 165 mins of Volleyball quads in gymnasium
    Wed - this will be a Recovery Day
    Thurs - I hope to do Arms and either running or jump training
    Fri - possibly legs and back
    Sat - I hope to mow my lawn :-) Go for jog and possibly Shoulders and Triceps

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Took my MIL to Urgent Care to get her checked out.
    What would I have done differently? Put more money in the meter at Urgent Care, got a ticket. :ohwell:
