I have to go back and change my ticker in the wrong direction. I haven't been doing it right, even though I've been on MFP for soo long. I think that it is going to happen, this time!

Sept 24 Tues. Starting weight 201.8 lbs. Hadn't weighed, tracked or checked in consistently for a while. I was pleasantly surprised when I had a loss on the scale this morning. That's good news as I must have changed my eating habits to lose without keeping track! woohoo! Didn't come close to my summer goal of 185 but I'm continuing to lose and that's a good thing! I'll make it my Fall goal! My first goal is to get to ONEderland!!!!

Goldk - Good luck with the pinched nerve, I had one a few years ago from bone spurs in my neck - it was causing my hand to fall asleep often. They did tons of tests because they thought it might be a bigger problem with my spinal cord - in the end ibuprofen, physical therapy and some neck stretching contraption did the trick. The tests they did ended up being way worse than the pinched nerve. They did a myelogram test where they inject dye in the spinal fluid - and that made me sick for almost a week where I had to be flat on my back or I had horrendous headaches and nausea... that was the worst thing I have ever gone through (including child birth with no pain medications), being basically incapacitated and not knowing when or if I would ever get better. I hope it is much easier for you!0 -

I have this ongoing ticker pressure of not changing it, but lately things haven't been
going that great. Still exercising everyday, that's not the problem. I motivate myself, kick my
own butt and get moving everyday. I am doing lifting 3 times a week, new for me, and cardio
3 times a week and the scale is still going up and down like a yo yo. I will keep at this,
and never give up !!!!!! At least I know I am healthy and my age has something to do with it,
but that is not an excuse. Join me ladies we can do this, New Fall, New plan, New Us !!
That's my speech for this next few months. Let's do this thing !

I know I have a degenerated disk in my neck. I had an MRI back in 2009. The neurologist scheduled another MRI for Monday and follow up appointment on Thursday. Hopefully I'll know soon how to take care of it. He said cardio - elliptical, walking is fine but stay away from yoga and weights until he figures out what's going on.0 -
