This week has three different workouts!?
Week 5
5 min warm up
22 min run
1 min walk
repeat 2 times (run total 44 mins)
5 min cooldown
5 min warm up
25 min run
1 min walk
repeat 2 times (run total 50 mins)
5 min cooldown
5 min warm up
30 min run
1 min walk
repeat 2 times (run total 60 mins)
5 min cooldown

Do the workout three times and then move on to the next week
Remember to run at your pace and walk at your pace.

Well yesterday I ran 5.5 miles in 1 hour 15 mins. I consider that a success. Tomorrow I am running 4 miles and I will do the same on Sat morning. Then I have turn around and run 7 on Sun or MAKE myself run 7 while on vacation. I figure it would be easier to make myself run only four miles (45 mins) compared to the 7 miles (1 hr 35 mins). I feel good about my ability to run the distance.
I have signed up for a Quarter Maraton (6.55 miles) on Sept 4th and the Half Marathon (13.1 miles) on October 16th. I plan to keep up with the running to improve my time with another Half Marathon in May 2012 and then train for a Full Marathon (26.2 miles) in October 2012. I have a game plan and I intend to see it through
