Don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day. Change your attitude and say tomorrow I will do better and try harder. Weighing myself almost daily helped me keep my eating in check too.0

Healthy diet and a good healthy goal. Ask yourself the question. Why do you want to lose weight. Is it to feel better. Build confidence. Wear stunning clothes etc0

My favorite mantra is ....... MAKE THE HEALTHIEST CHOICES AT EACH MEAL ...... many days I actually succeed :drinker:
And when being lazy about exercising ....... JUST DO IT !0 -
Portion control!0

when you go home...don't put on your biggest sweats. As a girl I put on my skinny jeans and watch my gut hangover.....nothing kills an urge to snack like a gut hanging over the waistline.
stay positive. It's what you do a majority of the time that counts!0 -
I would say, do not give up. EVER. Now, this is different from taking a "break".
If you do feel like giving up and quitting completely, then you need to re-evaulate the whole concept of your changes being long-term and being realistic with yourself.0 -
DON'T START FROM HERE.
Early on find out what makes your body tick and keep it so.
Sorry cant' think of anything better. Pity you can't put old heads on young shoulders.0 -

Be honest about what you are eating, and that means knowing how many calories. You might not want to eat less but you should at least know what you are eating.0

Record/journal all food and exercise - EVERYTHING - good, bad or ugly!0

My biggest tip? Commit! If you're not ready to work your *kitten* off; if you're not ready to hit the gym 3+ times a week and make healthy nutritional choices, if you've only been doing one and not the other and you're wondering why you haven't been successful, then you NEED to commit to it.
Personal fitness requires 100% dedication. If you can't give it that much then you're not going to succeed.0
