Good morning beastettes! Today's workout is one of my favorites.......shoulders!!!! LOVE working shoulders! And recently, I've started to love working triceps too! I gotta hand it to Sagi Kalev (creator of BB); he sure got me to love leg day too! I mean, I already loved lifting weights but this just took it to a whole other level! I've got my Turbo Fire abs on tap too! Make it a great day ladies! :drinker:0

Hi there, new to this group. In on my second day of bodybeast after finishing a round of insanity and Chaldean extreme. Really loving it at the moment. It's nice to see so many women giving this workout a shot. I can't wait to see the results!!0

Yeah!! Welcome! I finished my 5th round (not in a row) of Chalean Extreme about a month ago; absolutely one of my favorite programs! And......she's coming out with something new! Looks awesome, as always! But, no details yet.

Oooohhhh.........Build Legs!!! The first time I did that workout, I couldn't walk for like 3 days! LOL But now, I love it! I like Bulk Legs even better!
My first round, I used all of the Body Beast supplements and really liked them. However, I learned that I still need to lean out a bit. Are you using supplements?0 -
Last year I did Jamie Eason's Live Fit, Insanity and T-25. Then I slacked a couple months this winter :frown: I've been doing T-25 and P90X3 for a few weeks. I love P90X3, but I really need more weight training. I've been doing too much cardio.0

I know it's been two days and hurts more than it did yesterday!! I'm using sci-mx xplode for pre workout and sci-mx whey post workout. Also taking cla with my meals. I did back and bis today and I loved it!0

I received my DVD's today! I have a question. Sorry if this has already been discussed, I haven't gone through all 16 pages of discussion. Are you guys following their calorie calculator? Seems like its been written for guys and the calories seem high. Anyone else think that? I do realize I should eat more to gain muscle, but that seems like a lot more.0

I am not following the calorie guideline. I am eating a bit more and trying to eat as clean as possible but staying close to 1500. Hoping to get a bit leaner this round.0

I know how you feel about the calories; I was skeptical at first too but you have to trust the program. Maybe start 200-300 less then what it says and see how you feel after a week or so, if you need to add those in, you can.0 -

Started BB on Monday. So far so good, really liking it! I'm feeling my chest, tris and legs today, but just enough to be a good pain I'm also adding cardio through P90x3 or T-25. I just can't separate myself from it.0

Hi All. I ordered Body Beast and am currently waiting for it to arrive. (should be here this week). I will be doing the lean schedule and am super excited to see how it goes. I've done Chalene Extreme twice and just did Simply Shredded 12 wk program.0

Welcome ladies! I'm so glad You both are starting about the same time as me. I just finished week 2. My weeks aren't going to match his exactly because I need a Monday-Sunday schedule with Sat & Sun off. I'm doing it with my husband and he insists on having those days off, lol. I am doing an extra Body beast cardio on Friday and P90X3 on Saturday because I like to workout 6 days a week. I love the program. I recommend you start a little lighter than you think you should. It's a LOT of reps and you will completely exhaust the muscle by the end. I was sore the first week, but not horrible. it was a good sore. Not as sore the second week.0

Hi ladies, ive been doing body beast for a week now and am enjoying it, was just curious what weights everyone is using, i am currently using 5kg, 8kg and 10kg, cant imagine using anything heavier than that on this round, what are you using?0

Finished Build (HighSchool)! YAY. I did an extra week of Build (4 total) just cause I can. Started Bulk (College) yesterday. Chest was great. Really didn't think I got much out of it but realized today (DOMS) I did . Today was Bulk Legs...OMGosh...I promise you will understand if you haven't done the routine yet. Woozer...this is going to rock!
As far as weights, this is what I used:
Chest - 8 -12.5 lbs
Legs - 10-22.5 lbs
Back - 5 - 17.5 lbs
Shoulders - 5-20 lbs
Depending on the exercise.0 -
Hi ladies!!! Sorry I've been MIA lately, my Mom went into the hospital last week so that's been consuming my time. She is released now but it's still a mystery as to what is going on so we're waiting for some answers!! It's very frustrating!
So, I've been a little off with my workouts and it's gonna suck getting back into them again! Like trying to learn how to ride a bike again! LOL
Anyway, at least I've still got my teaching that I do so that's good!

Hey all. I found this thread while googling women body beasters. I am currently on my second round of the 21 Day Fix. I have come to realize how much I love to lift weights and have decided that BB will be my next program to do. I'm not sure when I want to start though. The reason for this is that I still have quite a bit of weight to lose and in order for me to go on fertility drugs my doc wants me at a certain BMI. Now this relies on my weight. I have hidden my scales and rely on my inches lost instead but alas, the doc does not. (although if I am significantly smaller they might change their minds). I am scared that I will gain mass by my next appt in May and be denied. then the other part of me wants to say screw it and get smaller and tighter by doing BB while not caring about what the scale says. I saw great results with The Fix the first round (8.4 lbs and 7.25 inches lost in 21 days). Would BB compare to that? Maybe not in the weight but in the inches? Is there anyone else out there that is or was quite overweight and started this program.
I have been told to go to Chalene Extreme or Les Mills Pump first but i've tested those and meh.
Also, I have just moved into the 8lb range for weights. My arms have been jelly these past few days. Has anyone started with those low weights. I could lift 10's on certain moves. 5 lb, 8lb and 10lb would probably be my light to heavy range.

Welcome SnowWillow! I just got my 21 DF today! I have been waiting for a while; mine was part of the delayed shipping group! I am excited to start on Monday! My original plan was to do Les Mills Pump after the 21 DF because I wanted to lose more body fat before my second round of Body Beast but I am so anxious to do another round; I LOVE it so much! lol I was actually thinking that I might use the 21 DF portion control eating plan while doing Body Beast. I know of women who still have weight to lose that are doing Body Beast and they are losing inches and weight. There are two options with the program; the Lean and the Huge. Maybe you could look at doing the Lean and even throw in some 21 DF cardio a few days a week too to boost the fat loss. I started with 8 and 10lbs but soon moved up so you might want to invest in some heavier weights when the time comes.....and it will! Great to have ya here! Keep us posted!0
