Only managed 10 mins jogging to work this morning, but think I met the challenge.
During the week I have done 170 mins of extra exercise. Hope to increase it slowly week on week.
Not sure if I have lost any weight yet though, had a buffet lunch at work today and it was mostly sandwiches and some sort of meat on a stick!! I'm sure it didn't do me any favours. Can't wait for the weigh in tomorow.0 -

I did it. I gave my dog an extra 25 minute walk this afternoon and rode my bike for 20 minutes afterward. 3 of 3 extra 45 minute workouts!
First challenge complete! Wow. I was begining to have my doubts. It was too windy for kayaking and really pretty windy for cycling too. But, splitting the 45 minutes between two different things made it much more managable.0 -

My workout yesterday was totally brutal and I worked late tonight, so typically I would of called it a rest day. But I was pretty motivated to complete this weeks challenge so I dragged my butt to the gym and ran 30minutes and walked on an incline for another 15.
That officially completes my week one challenge! 3/3 additional 45 min. cardio workouts complete! Best of luck to everyone on the weigh in tomorrow :flowerforyou:0 -

Week 1...
Day 1: 1/1/11, 20 minutes of aerobics (Kinect) and a 27 minute walk
Day 2: 1/2/11, 40 minute step/aerobics DVD (didn't quite make it to 45, but close!)
Day 3: 1/4/11, 30 minutes of aerobics (DVD) & 30 minutes of Pilates/Stretching (DVD).
Does the extra on day 3 make up for the 5 minute shortage on day 2??? LOL

Weighed 140 this morning so no change there. I'm aiming for a 1 pound loss per week.
I think it may be all the food I ate for supper last night though cause when I weighed myself Friday morning the scale said 138. So who knows.
I loved last week's challenge and I really want to make eating a reasonable amount of food my big goal this week. I went way over board during the holidays so I figured this first week in January would be a normalizing week as far as eating goes.

#2 Risa::: I Weighed in this morning and lost 1 lb no oz . 175 now 174 I don't want to lose to fast my Neice lost her weight to fast and now she has a lot of skin to get rid of and I am 18 years older than her so I want to tone as I lose so maybe I won't have as much skin but at 55 the Cologin isn't very good ( not sure how to spell Cologin):blushing: I think I got my 3 45 min extra this week.0

Weigh in at 276. That's 2 pounds lost! Also don't know if it will count, but I got up early this morning and did 45 mins on an elliptical. This would be my third day for the challenge and thus completed. Even if today doesn't count, I'm still proud I did it!
On a side note, I'm going to be using a new scale from now on. Hopefully it won't change things too much.0
