How do you take your coffee?

I am a huge coffee drinker, every morning, for every exam (I'm in college), before work. I used to put 2 packets of raw sugar into my coffee with skim milk but recently have switched over to almond milk (which is lower in calories than regular milk, but the coffee shops only ever have regular milk). I do like something sweet, I was wondering if anyone uses a creamer that's low in calories? Or should I just stay with just a splash of almond milk?

Like a latte.... 1/2 cup of coffee to 1 cup of vanilla almond milk, plus a packet of splenda, or two tsp of sugar. Or iced, with condensed milk in it. Which is why I generally only have it once a day. ;)

I drink my coffee black now. After logging how many calories were in each of my many cups of coffee...it added up fast. I actually prefer black coffee now.

black with pure stevia, or a dash of cimmon sugar.

during the day, I have another one with organic heavy cream or half and half.

I used to drink my morning coffee with a teaspoon of coconut oil...

ps. I drink instant...I know I know...but I just love instant...I buy them from various international markets which carry brands cross the world, literally..

With homemade salted caramel sauce and 2 K-cups usually. Sometimes I put protein powder in there.

no sugar, with soy milk. it takes a little while to get used to drinking without sugar, but it's worth it.

Only in ice cream form--Starbucks Java Chip to be exact.

I don't actually like coffee, but love the smell of it. I know, weird...

95% of the time I drink it black. I will add sugar or cream if I'm in the mood for something sweet

Black with a snack or dressed up with two tablespoons of fancy flavored creamer from the store when it's by itself.

When I have my joe at home/office, I brew a cup of medium roast (Keurig) then add two packets of Splenda and I use Coffee-mate Sugar Free Caramel Vanilla creamer. Tastes great! The fat free creamers do not work for me, they "water down" my coffee since they are so thin, but really like the sugar free versions. I occasionally toss in a tsp of Benefiber for good measure.

At Starbucks, I usually order a skinny vanilla latte (hot or iced depending on my mood or the weather). Occasionally will splurge on a skinny/light mocha frappuchino with no whip.

1-2 shots of espresso, no sugar, 8-12 ounces unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Have you tried unsweetened vanilla almond milk? I find it allows me to ditch the sugar and still get the flavor and satisfaction.

For my "at home" brew, I choose black with stevia. On the occasional coffee shop excursion, I usually get a plain, nonfat latte (iced or hot) with stevia or Splenda.

I've been adding pure coconut milk to my coffee. I seems to give me a longer energy run. I know coconut milk has tons of saturated fat in it but it is not the same as fats from meats and dairy. Coconut milk fats are burned immediately by the liver for energy. Oh yeah and it tastes good too.

Fortunately, I don't make more than a cup a day. I make a an AeroPress sort of expresso with a cappuccino blend of beans and let it sit for a while. I use 4 tsp of chocolate CofeeMate and two packs of stevia. Hot or iced, same thing.

I start each day with one of those canned Starbuck's Doubleshots.
  • Two tablespoons of half and half. I only drink one cup - no sweetner:wink:
