First: I would like to thank morbidbones for posting this.
Second: how do I block all these “perfect” people. I DON’T eat perfect food all the time so I don't think I fit in with them.
I need a diet coke and a chocolate bar after reading all this stuff.
thanks for showing up and insulting people who dont like low calorie food and didnt say a single negative word to you. *applause* youre doing it right!

I don’t understand your post completely. I never named names so exactly what people did I insult? I never said anything about "people who dont like low calorie food" so this part confused me.0 -

Number 9 isn't just bad because it's obvious, it shouldn't be on the list. Yes, it's low calorie and has no sugar - but the chemical sweeteners used in diet drinks are considerable worse for you than those with sugar in. I'm not saying that you should be drinking fizzy drinks full of sugar either, but really - don't drink the diet stuff!0

I think I'll stick with eating real foods like meat, fruits, and veggies and eating richer foods like pasta and sweets in moderation. Half that list is processed and terrible maybe you'll lose some weight, but come on!0

Thanks for all the great tips. I'm new to this site to so.... Bump0

Sugar free ketchup. Only 5 cals a TBSP.
Also Kernals popcorn seasoning. I put it on everything. White Cheddar, Butter, and Ranch are my favorites.
And of course hot sauce. Been on a Tabasco Chipotle kick lately.0 -

It's fun to find low cal substitutes, but I've found myself having to add back in higher calorically dense foods to meet my fat macro. I wasn\t getting enough fat will all the low cal stuff and my body did not like it. Made me very tired.
That said, one of my favourites is low cal vanilla pudding- just 60 cals0 -

Watermelon
Chopped tomato with cottage 2:1 ratio with italian flavoring soooooo good
Dulce de lece (spelling?) jello pudding (60 calories but so good)
Pumpkin applesauce muffins (have a recipe that comes out to around 85 calories per decently sized muffin)
oatmeal -- add a bit of extra water, or shredded carrots (carrot cake flavor) pumpkin puree (pumpkin spize flavor) zucchini and few chocolate chips/cocoa (chocolate zucchini bread flavour) coconut (just yummy) or light hot chocolate.... alll so yummy and filling
flavored 0% greek yogurt with peanut butter. sounds weird but you really should try it!
lunch meat wrapped around veggies... crunchy and salty
cereal
rice cakes
tofu is actually relatively low in calories and high in protein. love eating this satayed in pan with a touch of oil (a little fats not gonna kill anyone)
bbq corn... caramelized yummy
grilled zucchini
popcorn!!!! add some kind of flavouring or nuts and fruit or anything really you can make it higher or lower calorie snack.
thinly sliced homemade bread with any kind of filling (only problem is it can be a bit fall apartish) but today I made a sandwhich with 3 kinds of homemade bread. Weighed out my bread first, 68 grams for 3 slices. Can you say heck yes. Lots of flavour, less carbs. Woot!0 -

I really like no-yolk egg noodles. They have about half the calories of regular noodles and I can't taste the difference. I use them in everything-- they have 210 cals in 1 1/5 cups! I like the flavor better than the Miracle Noodles and they are easier to find.
I make baked goods with egg whites and Splenda- it cuts the calories and you can barely taste the difference.
I also really recommend Bolthouse Yogurt Ranch Dressing. It has 45 calories per 2 tablespoon serving which is much less than most dressings. It also has great flavor and texture. They have other varieties as well,0 -
Also thanks for the original post, I enjoyed your recommendations. I just though I would add my favs.0
