  • Been making this for a few weeks now and love it!! This time, we took the chicken out and shredded it and put it in a skillet with brown rice and made "fried rice"...it was delicious. Then we had some leftover shredded chicken, so I put it on a salad with pineapple and Ken's sweet onion Lite Dressing, and it was sooooo good.

    I love this dish!

  • 1tbsp of 30% lower salt soya sauce is 880mg of sodium, you are only supposed to have 1600mg a day so the amount of sodium that would be in this recipes is off the chart! EEk I make sure to watch my sodium! Other than that this recipe sounds good!

    I'm definitely NOT a big fan of soy sauce of any form... MFP suggests 2,500 mg of sodium for me, but I try to keep mine lower, just under 2,000 mg. You do need some sodium, but I've never heard of anybody suggesting it as low as 1,600 mg! Is that a minimum suggestion? Where did you get that number?

    nvm.. forgot to take weight of pineapple into account. End weight ended up being 2lb 1.8oz and with serving size of 4oz can serve about 8.5 people (which recipe wont take half amount into account) so ends up about 116 cal/serving

    This sounds so good! It is in my crockpot right now. I am just leaving for work and I am looking forward to a yummy dinner when I get home! My hubby will be thrilled.
