Good morning ladies, the scales are being kind to me this morning, showing a 1kg loss, so now weighing in at 85.2kg or 187.8lb. I'm very happy with that, I was worried about what the effect of weighing in directly after the weekend might have, but that's ALL good!

    Happy weighing in everyone.

Hanna, Steph and I have been doing JM forever. Steph is amazing at it. It does help you to get strong. Its a tough work out so do it at your level. I am on my second round of 30 days. Level 1 still, its a good workout for me. I have only done 5 days so far. So not to far ahead of you and I have learnt to take rest days. Which I tried not to do the first time, but then collapsed after 22 days and it took me like 30 days to finish the last 8 days. I didnt do it yesterday, ballet and treadmill. Will get my lazy butt up soon and try and get it done this morning. The first 5 -7 days are the hardest but try and stick with it. I use quite light weights as well. At first I used cans of beans from the pantry.

Steph, well done with all your kilometers. You are amazingly motivated and motivating. I love Jillian too, (sometimes). Its great how my body feels so strong after her workout. I really want to get through this 2nd round of 30 days even if I stick to level 1. Its still tough but wow when i think back to when I first started i really have improved.

Rach:drinker: Cheers to your fabulous weight loss. Congratulations. I will get down to the shopping centre later this morning for my weigh in.:frown:

Katie, How was Sydney? Hope you enjoyed it. But its now back to work, dearie.

Oh my Sydney was AMAZING!!! I haven't had that much fun in a while.
We had the funnest road trip on Friday morning and got into Sydney a bit after 12 i think and went to The Rocks and had the yummiest Tapas at a little place called the Flying Fish (or something similar?).
Friday night we went out for real Japanese food which i had never had. The boys ordered everything for me and Haley and it was AMAZING!!! It was this cute little place where you have to take your shoes off! I loved it!!!
Afterwards we went to a fun gay bar and i saw my first drag show! It was so much fun!! Except when one of the drag queens had the most AMAZING legs!! Jealous!! Haha!!!
Saturday morning we got up early and met a friend of ours at the airport and took her to breakfast at Bronte beach!! Yum yum yum.
We went to the Casino in the afternoon and DJ taught me how to play blackjack. We bet $80 on one hand and got blackjack so double the $80! It was awesome fun haha!
Then we went for a late lunch on Darling harbour... 3 courses of yummy yummy food and chocolate fondant to DIE FOR haha!
We went back to the apartment and slept before having a late dinner at the cutest little french restaurant in the city... i had snails for the first time and they were delicious!!!
Sunday morning was breakfast at Potts Point before road tripping home!

So amazing food! Lots of drinks! Lots of laughs! And lots of walking! It was just the most amazing weekend spent with amazing friends... i cannot wait to do it all again :):)

Weighed myself this morning and i weigh 95kgs. So that 0.3kgs up on last Monday's weight.
But i weighed myself on Thursday morning and i was 94.3kgs, so i put on 0.7kgs over the weekend, but that is the buffer i gave myself. I told myself that i could have fun and as long as i didn't weigh over 95kgs today i would be happy! So after all that food, i think i have done ok haha!
No exercise this morning though, was running super late to work so i drove today, but i might drive home at lunch time and workout or something? I will see how my day goes!!

Hope everyone had the best weekend!!!
I think i might stick to my 1 hour of exercise a day challenge again this week and then maybe join in on the April challenge or something next week. I will see what my week brings :)

Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!!

Thats fantastic Katie, a great weekend and not too much damage. You will lose that quickly enough.

I loss 500grams this week. A lot of work for that. Glad I worked hard otherwise it may have been a gain. Bit by bit I'll get there. First goal is to get under that 100kilo's. It is now in sight. So I weigh 100.5kgs or 221.5pounds.

Hello peeps.. Sorry I've been so absent from the thread... Still feeling full of sickness this morning but managed to weigh in (though I very much doubt it's a true representation of my weight after a day of not eating and being sick!)
So I'm now 268.2lbs... I should be quite excited about it but I think I'll save the excitement for if I manage to stay there for next weeks weigh in!
Well done to all who've posted their weight already... I will get around to updating the chart as soon as I can xx

You will definitely weigh under 100 next week. You are doing loads of workouts and you eat healthy. It is a wonderful feeling to not weigh 100-something. keep up the hard work!!

I did the 30 DS 1:1 today and even though it felt like she was putting me through hell during the workout (and trust me on this one - i HATE jumping jacks!!!) I feel strangely fine now. I did a zumba express on top of that as well so i should start to feel something soon. But if i dont get the pain now i will get the pain tomorrow. I hate when it hurts so much you cant even sit down. Happy monday everyone!!!

So much to catch up on sorry I don't have tiem to reply individually. I met my goal last week I worked out for 345 minutes total.

So is the goal for this week 500 cals a day? That's huge! I'm sure I will have to take one rest day this week but I'll try for 500 every other day. I have no idea how many cals I burned in march. I'll go back and have a look and see if I can better it in April. You guuiys have amazing work ethic. You make me fel lazy and I work out 5-6 days a week.

BTW not loss last week TOM sucks!

Managing to keep food down! woop woop! So I hope the worst is over... DS got sent home from school today becuase he's ill again... Not keeping food "up" iykwim (sorry if TMI!)

Will try for the 500 cal burn a day but will probably have to make a couple of doubles as I'm not planning on exercising today or possibly tomorrow... Zumba wii should come tomorrow though or wednesday so if I do a couple hours on that should catch up...

Fuhrmeister - can I have your weigh in for this week so I can update the chart please? Thanks! x

74.9 / 70 km is my final answer. Reached that goal like it was nobody's business!

LW: 176 (I think this was an outlier...)
    CW: 177.5

My eating has been pretty bad all week, so I'll deal with this.
I didnt do it yesterday, ballet and treadmill. Will get my lazy butt up soon and try and get it done this morning. The first 5 -7 days are the hardest but try and stick with it.

Jen... Ballet and treadmill are still a wonderful workout!! I think it's impossible NOT to improve when you do the Shred.

Claire... I hope you feel better soon. :flowerforyou: Think healthy thoughts.

Katie... Your trip sounds like so much fun!! I really want to try going to a Japanese restaurant with tatami mats and kimono hostesses. I find you pay for the atmosphere though... Amazing weekend!!

Hanna... I felt the same way about lunges before I started the Shred. Now I really like them, and I think I'm actually pretty good at them! In the beginning, I couldn't do a full push up, either, but I managed to pull them off in my second round! You'll be loving (or at least indifferent to) those jumping jacks by the end! I actually like the next day pain, for the most part. Makes me know I had a good workout. It always takes 24 hours for the pain to set in for me.

    Great job Courtney!! :drinker:

Good Monday morning everyone!! I haven't caught up on reading the posts yet from the weekend, but am checking in with my Monday morning weight and my goals for this week.

Weight: 362.2 Total lost this week: 4.2 (YES, my goal was 3.5 to stay on target for my next personal goal).

Personal Goals for this week: Lose 3.5 pounds (in spite of TOM who will be visiting this week), burn 500 calories daily, drink at least 96 oz water, not skip any meals on my plan, and I am starting the "couch to 5k" today.

There is a 5k run June 4th and my 9 weeks of couch to 5k will end on June 6th so I am super excited about that!

Well I am off to walk with the dog. Have a good day all!

Idahogirl71 - Congratulations!! That is amazing loss and you must be super happy to have lost more than what your target was!!! Very happy for you!! :):)

Steph_135 - Wow a Japanese restaurant like that sounds amazing! And the atmosphere/ experience would be worth the money. I am finding that as i am getting older, i am appreciating things like that a lot more. I cannot do it all the time, but every now and then is always special. Especially when you get to spend it with the people you love the most!! We are doing it all again in August and i cannot wait haha!!!

Successful challenge week. I only missed one day for drinking 8 glasses of water. I was able to modify my habits and I began to excercise for 30 min every day.

and I am starting the "couch to 5k" today.
Excellent! I'm doing that too, though I've slowed down a little (staying on week 3) because my ankle is weird... Happy running!

Katie... As soon as I have a steady paycheck, I'll be doing a LOT more stuff like that.

Tami... Make sure that [ quote ] is above the text of the person you are quoting, and make sure that [ /quote ] is underneath the text of the person you are quoting. Be sure that it's not under YOUR text.
