No worries guys - jump right back in!! Believe it or not, it only takes 15 minutes at max to do each day, depending on how long you rest between sets. I did it this morning while packing lunch for my daughter and myself!! Nothing to it but to do it!! We're all rooting for you - jump back in!!

W2D2: 30 total (12 on last set). I'm a little bummed that I couldn't do more, since I did 30 on the last day, BUT, I'm glad I at least tied myself.

I think I need to take a weekly arms picture to compare at then end of this. Today I was noticing that my bicep is more cut.0 -
Nice job ladies! And Amy, I agree. I should be taking pictures. I kind of have a "before" picture from last month that kind of shows my arms, and I'm taking another "during" picture in a few days (one each month until I hit my goal). I'll make sure to flex. :-P0

W2,D2, C2: 57, 14 max, 3 more on my knees
I found today really hard! I struggled on the last pushup of each set...yikes! Hope I don't have to repeat the week LOL0 -
W2D2 Total: 34! 15 on the last set. Woot!
Katie, I think some days are harder than others. Are you warming up before you do them? That can help. I know that I can do more during my circuit workout after I've done this challenge -- I think it just gets the muscles going and then it's easier to do more.
Everybody's doing fantastic!0 -
W2D2 - 5,7,4, 4 - MAX 11 - Total 28
Thanks for starting me down this path. My arms both hate and love this!
Keep up the good work everyone else!0 -
W2D1 (finally!!!) - Officially Total 64 w/ 16 max on the last set (all on knees)
Why officially? Well, I only did 10 on the last set (was to have been at least 15) and got really down on myself and then really pissed off at myself!! I gave myself a 60 second rest period and then banged out 16 more pushups.
I won't lie, it has been a VERY difficult 5 days - I found out on Saturday that my dad has Stage IV colon cancer. It has been only 6 months since my mom passed away from lung cancer. Add to all of that the fact that my leg injury has me unable to run - my exercise and stress reliever of choice - and it goes without saying that I have been in a bad place mentally. Dedication to my diet and exercise has gone out the window.
I made the decision today that I am getting back on the treadmill as of tomorrow morning even if all I can do is walk, and getting those push ups done tonight felt pretty good. I HOPE that tonight will be my turnaround.
Okay, enough rambling...Keep up the great work, ladies!!!0 -
Oh Tobi, I'm sorry to hear about that. Good for you for staying active. It won't make everything better, but it will help you be more able to cope. *hugs*0
-
W2 D2: 14 - 16 - 12 - 12 Max 20 Total = 74!!
Glad this one went better - I was beginning to think that I'd need to repeat a week! Maybe I just need to start doing these in the afternoon rather than first thing in the morning!
Seeing some serious muscle in my arms and shoulders after just a week and a half!
Tobi - I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad. You have my thoughts and prayers.
Ultra fantastic job on those push ups ladies!! Talk about arms of steel!!0 -
Great job to all!! I did mine after doing my C25K run so I am wiped out this evening.
W2D2 - 55 Total, 15 Max
Tobi - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad and the loss of your mom. Prayers going up for your family. Hugs to you!0
