I have a 13 year old daughter and 11 year old son. I find it easier to fit in time for a walk or run when they are this age - I can drop my son to his taekwon do class, bring the dog for a walk or run and be back in time to collect him. He sometimes joins me for a run at the weekend. I just embarrass my daughter.0

I have 3 lil ones. My oldest is almost 6 years old and he's in KG. My toddler boy is 3 and my daugther is 10 months old. Taking care of them drains me out and have no energy to workout2

Hi everyone, I'm a single mom of a 13 year-old girl who works full time. I just started tracking what I was eating and my exercise about two weeks ago. It's not easy when you have a growing teen who is an eating machine lol.
Feel free to add me2 -
Hi everyone. So I wanted to share what has worked for me in the past, and may help you out. First and foremost, you have to truly understand why you want to become healthier and tie emotion into it. Only then, will you truly have the drive to push on. If you haven't seen my Blog on "What is your Why", check it out. You will understand what I mean. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/MikePXstream?month=201404
Second, Have a plan. Know what exercises you are giong to do, schedule it in a calendar for yourself as an appointment. You wouldn't miss a doctor appointment, so don't miss an appointment for yourself. After all, the better and healthier you are, the less trips to the doctor you will need.
Third, focus on your nutrition. Your nutrition is so vital to your results. You can not out exercise bad nutrition. Limit the amount of processed foods you take in, sugary drinks and treats, and empty calories from drinks. Stay hydrated. You are supposed to consume 1/2 your body weight in ounces every day. For me, that is about 90oz. i know it is a lot, but the more you take in, the better your body will perform.
Finally - Have a support and accountability group. When I finally had people to share my journey with and encourage each other, it was 10 times easier to keep going.6 -

I have done one weekend challenge on there I think. Those ones don't keep me going that much. I host challenges through FB, so those are the ones that keep me going. I do sync my fitbit to MFP so I can keep a better idea of what my calorie range is for the day.

Well, survived the holiday with little collateral damage. A couple of bad food choices but continued to exercise throughout the weekend, so stayed ahead of the gain as best as I could that way. Back on track today, so I am good to go. I do have an old knee injury that has flared up, so that will need a little extra attention this week.0

My fitbit says it's sync but nothing shows up for me, my cell phone carrier said it's MFP website is reason why. It's so frustrating0 -
