Roasted whole chicken (instead of turkey), butter mini potatoes, walnut grape goat cheese endive salad and a mini pumpkin pie with coconut whipped cream. I didn't stuff myself surprisingly. No food coma either and I'm actually glad!0

We had our Thanksgiving supper tonight. The high lights were Dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, turkey, ham, peas, green bean casserole, spinach fruit salad and turnip greens. Everything was too good.
Key lime pie, lemon meringue pie, cranberry salad, pineapple casserole, pecan pie bar and sweet potato pie. All very good. I haven't done the numbers yet, so I don't know how bad I did. But I started the day three pounds below my goal weight.

^^ Larro, yum!
Tonight I scrambled 2 eggs with chopped turkey, a mini portobello mushroom, and roasted veggies (brussel sprouts, carrots and little red potatoes); cherry tomatoes; fruit salad (pineapple, cherries, raspberries, banana, pecans, coconut, yogurt).

Supper was leftovers from last night. Green bean casserole, smoked ham, turkey, turnip greens, spinach fruit salad, dressing and gravy, and a tomato, cucumber and onion salad. If possible, it was even better tonight.

Honey mustard pork roast with onions and carrots. Hubs and kids enjoyed the leftover mash and stuffing with their's.0

(No pic)
Yesterday's supper was fast food(because again me and a friend were going trainwatching):
Ate at Hardee's and had 2.5 pieces of the chicken tenders that came with a drink and fries. The drink and fries were medium size and the drink was the blue Powerade.0 -
Supper tonight was all Thanksgiving leftovers. Some served as is, and others refurbished. Spicy tortilla turkey soup, turnip greens, ham, and turkey salad sandwiches with cranberry sauce. I had a bowl of spinach fruit salad as dessert. It was all very good. And now all the turkey has been used or gave away.

Tonight I made a big ol' salad of mixed greens, alfalfa sprouts, cucumber, asparagus, red bell pepper, green onion, mini portobello mushroom, chopped turkey, roasted veggies (red potato, brussel sprouts and carrots), chopped pecans, raisins, pecorino cheese, a tbs of ranch and some Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime seasoning; and a clementine.

Yesterday evening I was going to make another Shepherd's Pie, but then I realized I didn't have another can of cream of mushroom soup. So I had to throw that one out the window until next time(next Monday I will most definitely buy some more stuff for the pie, so I can make it multiple times-it tastes great as leftovers). I ended up having yesterday's supper just a bit ago.:
A whole can of Progresso Chicken Barley soup, and a glass of Stars & Stripes Root Beer to drink0 -
Pics from Thanksgiving weekend - I'm sure everyone is tired of seeing the turkey/mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes pictures... so I will refrain. However my family does a
"throwdown" when we get together, which seems ludicrous at Thanksgiving in light of all the other food but... this year it was a Pumpkin Challenge. Here are the entries:
Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake Bars with Salted Caramel Glaze (my entry)
Pumpkin Spice Cake Balls with Cream Cheese Icing
Pumpkin Spice Chex Mix
Pumpkin Caramel Bars
Pumpkin Fluff Cake
The Healthy Entry: Pumpkin/Cranberry/Spinach Smoothie Base with OJ and Apple Cider
The Savory Entry: Pumpkin Chicken Enchiladas (also the ultimate winner!)

Dinner tonight was a roast turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese, green onion, mini portobello mushroom, tomato, roasted brussel sprouts and carrots, mixed greens, mustard and some of the mixed sprouts I made (those radish sprouts have a kick to them!); and a salad of mixed greens, sprouts, red bell pepper, cucumber, strawberries, Mrs. Fields Fiesta Lime seasoning and a little Ranch.

All the different pumpkin dishes looked delish.0

I had a salad made with spinach, tomato, cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, onion, ham, turkey and cheddar. I think that was the last of the turkey.
Also had a couple of turkey salad sandwiches, and some Morning After, a mix of ham, turkey, onion and tomato. I cooked up a bunch of it the morning after Thanksgiving to make omelettes and had some left over. All in all, a pretty good supper.

Bacon cheeseburger pie with a hash brown crust -- 400 calories!0

Crunchy Taco Turkeyburger Helper is yesterday's supper, but am having it now(2.38 in the morning). Just made it. What I did was made the Hamburger Helper with ground turkey instead of ground beef. It sure looked like it turned out great. I bet it tastes great too. I will have to come back in a little while or so and show a pic.0

Fighting off a cold, so just wonton soup.0

Baked bone-in pork and sauerkraut with green beans on the side.0
-
scrambled eggs with cheese and hot sauce, green beans and carrots, and chocolate-drizzled raspberries over Greek yogurt.
...but first, the dishes need washing.0 -
The most amazing turkey soup ever. It turned out so delicious I almost had a second bowl...
That was the last of the leftovers. The candied yams got turned in two loaves of candid yam bread with pecans. The sausage stuffing got turned into stuffed mushrooms.... Finally it's all done!0
