I have been missing getting on here, and feel again out of control. So going to get back to taking this one day at a time
So -- just for TODAY
1. Only eat food in the kitchen
2. Drink water in the evening instead of "stress" eating
3. Log EVERYTHING I eat today!
I hope you guys are all doing better than I am! Too much eating over Thanksgiving, and now getting the sugar again out of my system, and getting back in control.
Joan, I so get it! Me too, big sugar and stress induced messups over the holidays. It got ugly. But today I was done and ready to start working on positive changes, "JUST FOR TODAY"

Just for today
1. Get my strength training in tonight DVD kettlebell abs/ shoulders - No I was only able to get 15 mins strength training done!
2. Don't LET the crazy things in life GET ME stressed out!!!!!!! Done
3. Make time for myself (crochet blanket) Done I actually did more on my blanket & had a bubble bath!!!!
Just for today
1. Get my kitchen as far as packing!
2. Get my walk in tonight!
3. Remember my protein drink!
4. AGAIN make time for myself!
We finally found someone to do the maintenance on RV so now ALL we need is make sure our car gets one too!!!!! Just so much to do for our relocating back to Washington!
I hope everyone else is getting back into the swing of things after Thanksgiving! I will actually be glad when Christmas is over since it'll be that MUCH loser to Feb!!!!0 -

3. Chew gum or drink water in the evenings. PLAN what I will eat for after-dinner snack (1 cup of popcorn)
See - I need to stay on this, to keep reminding me to take this one day at a time!!
Why is it so hard to get back on track once I have sugar!! YIKES!! But, I am not giving up!0 -

For 12/3
- log as I go -- YES, when I was near a computer!
- get up early and get a workout at the gym before work -- YES, 20 minute run, kindof minimal but.
- all the water. Just, all of it. -- Failed by a cup or so.
I know we are halfway thru 12/4 but:- come in under calories
- Cardio workout 30 mins if my calf doesn't hurt
- Upperbody & abs please - exercise ball or weight machines.

1. It is a rainy day out today, so just for today I will do 30 minutes on my ellipitical
2. Drink water!!!!
3. Log every bite I eat
4. Chew gum tonite instead of grabbing some food!
I think I forgot to log yesterday - my days are so mixed up. But I did a little better yesterday.

Log every single bit of the food I eat, since I know I won't be able to get any cardio after work tonight.
Drink water instead of soda during my drive tonight.
Bring healthy snacks from home in an effort to avoid the sugary snacks at mom's house.0 -

I'm in Australia, so it's already late afternoon. I think I'll post about tomorrow, hoping that will get me in the right mindset to start the day off with success.

- come in under calorie goal NOPE, I missed by a little because great workout but WORSE eating.
Welp. Some days are not great! Learn and go on.

1. I will not look back at my failed attempts, but will only look forward
2. No matter what I eat, I will be accountable for it,and log it.
3. Concentrate on drinking more water
I have not been on here as much, and a part of me just wants to give up, and wait until after the holidays. Like so many, holidays, while a beautiful time of the year, are very sad, and I miss my 5 siblings who have all passed away. I think the holidays makes us miss so much what we have lost. But - I have to focus on what I do have, and not let food be my comfort.
SO here is a new start again. Not sure how many NEw starts I will be making this holiday season, but each day can be a fresh day. So - just for today -- only looking forward!

@Joan, you said it! JUST for TODAY, only looking forward.
A wise friend once told me that I can start over again as often as I want, EVERY FIVE MINUTES if I choose to.
Another wise friend, in response to my frustration over imperfect behavior around exercise/eating, told me that no attempt was wasted, every one meant more health and strength in my body.

Just for today i will sticknto mybcal goal, under. Alreadybdid that.
Just for today i willmtake stairs instead of elevator. Also did that.
Just for today bring groceries inside instead of leaving them for hubs. Did that too.
