Discouraged by trace calories...

It's hard to tell cos you have a flowy skirt on. But your arms look scary skinny0

You certainly should be eating more than 1200 calories, whether you work out or not, that's for sure.
OP, if your health is important to you at all, get some professional help off-base if they can't provide you with what you need.0 -

I agree. Or they're the type of people who like skinny frames, with the mindset of "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"

thank you i don't want to be skinny fat haha i just want to look ok but if i were to add fats or protein would that slow down my process of weight loss?
No, I eat roughly 1500 to 1600 calories a day and between 50 and 60 grams of fat, sometimes more, and I lose weight steadily. I wouldn't be able to stick to your diet. Fat is not the enemy. I still eat regular bacon, butter, full fat salad dressing and cheese. You can eat all that and still lose weight, plus it will help you feel less hungry. Your diet would leave me starving. You need to find more of a balance, and not avoid certain things like protein or fat.

OP, please try to remember that body fat has many essential functions for people. It's not something that we need to seek and destroy every trace of. We need it, we're supposed to have some. Having some body fat is not a sign of imperfection, it's a sign of being human.0

This was taken Saturday clearly not underweight lol
Actually, you do look rather skinny. Can you please post your weight and height?
Also, the fact that your husband had to break your scale because you are worried of the weight you gained, when your picture shows that you have a rather skinny figure, does not really speak in your favour.

I'm 5"8 and my goal is 142lbs. Currently I'm 148.0

If you don't know your weight, how could you possibly say you're not underweight? You look underweight. You could very possibly underweight. But you wouldn't know that because you're missing some very vital information to that equation.0

OP, I'm a little baffled when you say you are clearly not underweight, when to the vast majority of people, you clearly are. Look at your arms. I suggest that you read a little on "body dysmorphic disorder" and consider seeing a professional regarding this issue. Try calculating your BMI, and getting your bodyfat percentage done, and comparing that to the healthy range. Your eyes are deceiving you if you truly believe that you don't appear underweight.0 -
Damn, girl, your phone almost has wider shoulders than you!
I'm having trouble seeing where 16 pounds is supposed to come from....0 -

OP, no offense, but I'm going to bow out of this thread. I think debating you about your weight is just fuel for you. I hope at some point you get some help; you have a lot more value than how thin you can get.

its not about thinness, this thread started off as understanding trace calories and how they should be counted, and i am glad that I asked because I had no idea how my diet is and how pathetic it is. Thank you for all of your advice, and I am sorry that this is how the conversations have turned out.0 -

No. The reality is you are looking for help with your diet so that you can lose more weight.
Obviously you don't think you have a problem when you do or this is just an elaborate troll.0 -

OP, I hesitate to insinuate that you're lying, but this is quite far from believable. Aside from the fact that your coworkers are unlikely to do such a thing even if it were true, since that could lead to you literally suing the company for creating a hostile work environment, but it's also so far from true that it's simply not believable that they would even tease or joke about you being chubby.0 -

6 pages ago I asked you if you had seen a counsellor. You ignored it, and you do still.
You seem like a nice person. Get some help about your body issues.
You don't need to lose weight. You need a new vision in your mind.0 -
How does a "bag" of apples and grapes add up to 200 calories? One apple is 100. Maybe I don't visualize the right "bag".0

Where do you work? I mean, not specifically, but what type of workplace environment is it? Because in almost every job I can fathom, other than being a dancer (ballet people!) This type of comment would incite a lawsuit not an eating disorder...

Are you sure?
I have literally never seen a person whose upper arm and forearm were as big around as their wrist.0
