Hi all! Just checking in. Hope you all had a great New Year's : ) I started the year with a challenge~~21 Day No Junk Food Challenge~~got my boyfriend to join me in it and we are doing good on this day 4. Shopped after I got off work yesterday and we stocked up on a lot of fruits and veggies, shopping cart was very colorful ; ) Along with chicken breast and salmon. Just finished my first workout of this morning and I'm feeling fantastic, sweaty but amazing!! Have a great Sunday everyone~~

Lost another pound and going to the gym today! It feels great to have more energy. All that pasta was making me too sluggish!

Lost a bunch then over the holidays put some back on, I've been really slacking off.
Since it's 3 months away not so sure I can make the 20 by Easter goal but I am going to try! :)

that's all we can do is try and follow your plan. nearly all diet plans do work. Watch those nibbles for they can easily add up to 50 calorie a nibble That has been one of my biggest problems Way to many nibbles
    good luck on your journey.

:D Alice there are a lot of exercises you can do at home....I don't go to the gym. I walk in place while watching TV. I bought some hand weights to do exercises with my arms and some ankle weights for leg exercises. Look for a book called "Strong Women Stay Young"....at the library maybe and get some good ideas. Going for a walk is a good plan. Get warm clothes if the weather is cold.

Just stay moving....get off the couch and get away from the computer.

I've been off the past two weeks on Winter Break. Back to work tomorrow. I pack my breakfast, lunch and two snacks the night before, so I know exactly what I'm eating. My daughter and I got to the gym three evenings a week. I'm going for 15,000 steps a day, completing my MFP challenges, logging all my food, drinking all my water. I'm going to try to workout to one of my exercise DVDs on non-gym days, but that's going to depend on how much time I have left.

    Hi Everyone,

I just got back from my daughter's for the weekend. They are moving this month to a new house and she is also due in April with our first grandchild.

I started my plan which is South Beach and have been very successful in the past.
My husband and I are doing it together. I tried this past week but had too many distractions so Monday is the starting day for days 1-14 of Phase 1.

Now I have to get started in making my mini quiches for breakfast tomorrow.

The scale did start to go down this week but I need an extra push and this will do it.

Good luck to everyone next week and their weigh in.
