Whoop - this thread is back - definitely one of my favourites! Can't wait to get to the point I'm bulky enough to post a photo often in here!

BUMP! I love this thread - and will be adding my pictures in a few months. Only just started my strength training today - starting off small but will join a gym next year and do heavy lifting! Cannot wait

Amazing... all of you ladies have inspired me to start lifting... I have been doing body weight exercises for about 2 months, and despite seeing an improvement I am really leaning toward heavy lifting.

I love lifting. It's the eating part that is hard for me.

Oh look, heavy lifting made me bulky, too!

Your measurements are exactly the same as mine and I wear a size 8. What is this sorcery? *scratches head*

    Accidentally deleted my whole post!!

Lost my baby weight (from my 3rd child) in December. Hit the gym in January after I recovered from severe pneumonia. I weighed 125 when I started at the gym and 136 now. I lifted heavy, and ate 2300-3000 calories a day. Just tryin' to get buff  I do not think I look like a dude!

I lost about 60 pounds BEFORE this before picture (left) using cardio and dieting.

This is the difference between 195/200 (cardio like crazy and restrictive dieting) to 170/175 (nixed cardio, started lifting and ate more).

    tumblr_mdjj72sJNW1qffloyo1_1280.jpg

this is at about 165/170 and below that is at 153

My profile pic is the difference that 6 months of lifting heavy can do alongside a good eating plan. Always lift heavy, ALWAYS!!!
