    Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? nature's harvest honey roasted walnuts... i thought they were very good.
    Mood today? very good... walked outside this morning in beautiful weather and slight breeze. temp was 28 degrees when i started and 36 degrees when i ended.

    my new walking shoes will be in this Thursday... can't wait~

    What would I have done differently? nothing - felt a little icky - didn't eat much.

    What would I have done differently? not go over and double check my Fitbit steps before i went to bed. I had 9,998 steps early in the evening. I did a couple of things before bed and assumed I would be over 10,000. I checked this morning 9,998 steps - LOL My Fitbit also said I had gone over on calories a bit more than MFP. Oh well - something isn't right.

    I don't have the recipe in my possession. My brother in-law made them last weekend. He roasted the eggplant (whole), cut it, scooped out the inside, mixed with canneloni beans, breadcrumbs, eggs, pepper, and rolled them up. (I'm pretty that's it.) When I get the actually recipe I will post it. I was amazed how yummy they were. He put some sauce and cheese on them and baked them for a bit.

    Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? potato, sausage and kale soup - yum
    Mood today? discouraged, not getting in enough exercise, had to cancel personal trainer today because I have to drive my dad home from radiation. I'm happy to be able to do that, but it is making life a little chaotic and stressful. My dad has 2.5 weeks left of radiation and chemo and is struggling with the side-effects. He can't drive anymore because he is too weak (and my mom only has one eye so can't really drive on the freeway or in St. Paul), so they are arranging rides to and from treatment. And now this week he has to have extra hydration every day so his schedule is unpredictable so I am driving more since it is easier for me than others. Luckily I have very flexible work so tha I"m able to do it .. but it does make it hard to have a routine for anything.

    1st Paul, sorry about your Dad and it is nice that you can help him. I have had a few times helping my Mom eroded my exercise. I am lucky I have a brother and sister to help with this. I took my Mom into the hospital yesterday for a heart procedure and it went well. I didn't get any exercise yesterday either. However we need to take care of ourselves too. Hope you have a good rest of the week.

    Istpaul - Sorry about what your Dad is going through. I have a cousin going through the same thing. Prayers to your Dad.

    Today I took my MIL for blood work and it did cut into my exercise, but I just completed it and it was only 34 min but better than nothing. She also paid for lunch today so she appreciates it.

    **hello Shirley~ thanks for your comment on my stepping. i'm at home (housewife)... it usually takes me two hours and/ or two and a half to get my steps in. the steps you see here are just my exercise. my casual puts me closer to 20k or more. some days it's hard to get them because life tends to step up its game, lol. hope all is well your way. have a great day~
