Anorexia has nothing to do with liking food or not and everything to do with being constantly terrified, which is not "easier than dieting". Try feeling like a walking corpse for a couple of years and see how you feel. Try sitting in front of an apple and watch your mother beg you to please, please just eat it just eat something and wanting to desperately but not being any more able than if she had asked you to eat the plate. Try sobbing hysterically for hours because you were forced to have a single bite of bread, but you feel as violated as if you'd been raped. Try having your fingers constantly blue and numb, not being able to sit on chairs because it hurts your bones, watching your friends laugh and only feeling the empty distance between you and them and all the rest of the people who are properly alive.
Not easy.
I'm sorry if it sounds harsh, it just really bothers me to see people acting so cavalier about a life-threatening illness. Anyone who suffers it would give it to you in a heartbeat if they could, I promise.

Ugh. FML.
omg omg omg omg that would be my life. I would die of happiness.0 -
I planned my day perfectly yesterday. And then friends decided to come over, and I used that as an excuse to eat as much as I wanted. Exact same foods, just huge portions. Planned on not eating back todays exercise calories. As I was getting ready for bed, my lungs started filling up, and my joints started hurting. So today, I'm now to sore to even think of exercise. Of course, this is not stopping me from eating yesterdays leftovers0

Since this is NO JUDGEMENT..... MY CONFESSION:
I wear my regular bra then a sports bra over it because I don't fit in my regular bras anymore and am too ashamed to get fitted for a bigger one :'(
Wacoal makes a really good sports bra for larger sized breast. They go pretty high, I know they at least go to E (or DDD).
No judgment, but I promise you will be much happier with a sports bra that fits properly. Go to Nordstrom and get fitted, you don't have to buy anything, and then shop around on Amazon to find a good bra.0 -

Since this is a judgment free zone. . .I helped a lady out who wanted to hike the more advanced trail this weekend. . .but she told me her plans (a very strenuous hike with a tour group in a month) and all I could think was, "oh dear lord, you should've been out here hiking since October. I'm worried about you doing the easy trail without help." I was very judgemental in my thoughts, even though I tried hard to give her some positive advice on hiking the trails. I just hope her tour is easier than she let on and that she gets better hiking clothes and a decent hydration pack before she goes.
Now I'm just going to let it go. . .0 -
So I have a random one. Is anyone else bothered by the fact a lot of the mobile ads we get served while on this platform are for weight loss programs or pills, etc. Doesn't that seem kind of counter to the whole myfitnesspal 'program' if you will. It's not a confession but figured I would serve it up here...0

I get irritated at the things we cannot get in Canada....like peanut butter Captain Crunch!
Anytime I know of anyone going to the US, I get them to bring me back Jif Peanut Butter. I love it and got hooked on it right before it left Canada! Come to think of it, it's probably best that I can't get it now...lol, because I won't eat any other kind.0 -
I got into a bag of brown sugar with a spoon last night. I haven't been that desperate for a sugar fix since I was a teenager.0

Did that taste as disgusting as it sounds?
Lol sadly no, it seemed to do the trick, but I FELT disgusting afterwards. Though it's kind of funny now.

You guys have really made me laugh. Soooo good to know that there are some crazy foodies like me out there. A spoonful of hot chocolate, what's weird about that? Need chocolate? It does the job. However keep on keeping on. Every pound lost should be celebrated.0

I lied to my boss about how bad the roads were today (It snowed last night) just so I could sleep in a couple extra hours Totally went in two hours late. lol0

Once every 3 to 4 weeks I'll cheat and throw calorie counting out the window. Then it will be a huge slice of carrot cake or whole foods chocolate mousse. Or yes I will have an extra slice of that multi-topping pizza along with a bottle of my home brewed nut brown ale. (Yum) Then I'll get on the scale 2 days later and be up 2 lbs and think great here comes two weeks of high intensity work outs to shave off those extra lbs.0

I giggled like a child when I read "nut brown ale".

I have my favourite pizza place as a contact in my phone and they know I like it thin crust, well done, and with paper plates.0

Don't feel bad about this, I eat the whole packet.. sometimes two if I'm really craving chocolate. I've done this since since was a kid. It's weird but I love it. Lol

Most of what I log as "breakfast" is just late night binges that I push over after midnight, so I have the whole day to fix it by doing extra cardio.0

I use MFP as a tool to help me but my wife does not know about the friends that I have on here. She would freak out. (You all are a better encouragement to my goals than she is)0

I can't buy cream cheese for this reason.
I have no self control, I have to make sure I don't buy it or I will eat it...all...at once!! This goes for more than just cream cheese.williams969 wrote: »I ate an entire 8oz. package of Philly cream cheese early this week (with a spoon, too LOL). Logged 2oz. a day over the next several days, as to hide my shameful binge.
To OP, no judgment from me (as you can see, I've only told you the least stupid thing I've done )--but please stop the "homemade Sauna suit" for exercising. It does nothing good, and is potentially dangerous. Same goes for the overprice "Wrap" products. They "Don't" work (except for emptying your wallet).

I had a cheat meal last night involving double stack burger and fries with huge ice cream sundae for dessert..... that is not the bad part.... all my addictions have resurfaced and i have now eaten crisps and chocolates for the last 12 hours after a fried breakfast.
Paying for it already...body has gone sluggish and I habe pt in the morning0 -

I'm pretty sure our whole administration office took the day off. I just wanted a couple extra hours of sleep lol0 -
I have that same problem with snack foods. I try not to buy them at all and just keep fresh fruits & veggies in the fridge. Nothing like a good carrot when you're craving something....NOT I just look at the dam carrots and remember my goal and end up not eating anything. lol.Angelfire365 wrote: »I stopped buying snacky foods to try and curb my 7 to 10 pm "grazing". Messed my wrist up trying to lift more than i could. now i just want to sleep instead of doing any schoolwork.
Looks like i'm going to have to do more cardio and decrease my calories to makeup for the weight training that i can't do.0 -
Every Friday, after hockey, I order a medium pan pizza, cheesy bread, and cinna stix, and eat my order in its entirety in one sitting while binge-watching whatever the TV show of the week is. It's how I unwind, and considering I've still lost 110lbs and have consistently been recomping my body with this as a part of my routine, nobody's taking it from me.2

Good Lord woman you scared the hell out of me, I thought you meant you ate out of the cottage cheese containers AT THE STORES and put them back. HAHAHAiamnotvoldemort wrote: »This was pre-dieting, but I accidentally turned myself off of eating cottage cheese because I thought I could eat a little and put it back (so I didn't waste a bowl for a small amount). I stopped ever wanting cottage cheese after I pounded 3 of the 16 oz tubs in a week.
Actually, dieting in general has shown me I had a really bad habit of eating food out of the containers instead of portioning it out.
I mostly eat out of tupperware because I don't like using real bowls/plates. Especially if it's hot food (the plate always gets so hot!).
