    @skippygirlsmom - wow, so great you hit your goal with recovering from your injury!

    Such impressive mileage on here! All this talk about new shoes and I realized I'm due for new shoes soon! I think I'll wait until my daughter is here for spring break and we will both get new ones at the running store in town. Of course, it might be nice to spread the cost out a little, maybe I should just go now. :wink:

    Feb 1 - 27 mile bike ride.
    Feb 2 - 3 miles
    Feb 3 - strength training
    Feb 4 - 4 miles -
    Feb 5 - rest
    Feb 6 - 3.3 + strength training
    Feb 7 - 34 mile bike ride
    Feb 8 - sore from biking, so only did a 5 mile walk, not on ticker
    Feb 9 - 4 miles!
    Feb 10 - Strength training
    Feb 11 - 4.5 miles
    Feb 12 - 4.52
    Feb 13- rest -trainer cancelled. :(
    Feb 14 - 34 mile bike ride.
    Feb 15 - 42 mile bike ride.
    Feb 16- 4.51
    Feb 17 - strength training
    Feb 18 -4.62
    Feb 19 - 4.13
    Feb 20 - strength training
    Feb 21 - 5 miles running; 15 miles biking
    Feb 22 - 50 mile bike ride
    Feb 23 - rest day.
    Feb 24 - Strength training
    Feb 25 - 5 miles!
    Feb 26 - 1.72 - it started pouring rain so I had to turn around and go back home. I tried to run but it was coming down so hard I couldn’t see and I was worried about my electronics.

    Congrats!! That's a great time!! I can't believe you were able to pull that off with knee pain! So happy to hear it didn't hurt during the actual race...what do you attribute that to? Adrenaline?

    I think taking the extra few rest days earlier in the week did a good job of getting it close to back to healthy (before I did it in from the race). Still, going into the race, the plan was to take a pulse 1 mile in and either pull out, or go for it. Not sure if the adrenaline was part of it, but I really didn't feel that bad on the course, and it only started aching when I finished.

    Taking 5 days off from running to help it fully recover, but putting in about 220 miles on the bike this week, giving my 8 mile pace run a shot tomorrow, and my 17 mile long run a try on Sunday if I don't feel any residual soreness by then.

    Met my goal of 22 miles. It doesn't seem like much but this is only my second month of running. I ran 22 min straight this morning!

    Congratulations - that is super duper stuff for just 2 months in! Also well done on the 22 consecutive minutes - awesome.

    Kinda underset my goal this month (along with being crazy enough to keep running!). But March will be harder since I've having surgery on the 6th, and will be down for at least a week (they say 2-3 weeks, but I'm stubborn) and only walking for awhile to get built back up.

    @stoshew7 - I noticed the March challenge is under Introductions. But as long as we know where it is! I remember there is a way to save a group or thread as your favorite but I haven't done it in a while.

    @ddmom0811‌ - click the little star to the right of the topic title at the top of the page to make it a favorite. The bell icon to the right of the Message Boards title when you click on the Community tab will show when there has been an update that you haven't read and you can click on one in the drop down to take you to the topic.

    My cycling friends call that ride or die, because if you can't keep up they'll leave you for dead. You kept up! B) That is an accomplishment to be proud of! You'll be great in your 5K tomorrow rain or shine!

    I ran 3 miles this morning when it was 12 degrees out. I have major respect for those of you that run when it is colder. Brrr! I'm a little short this month but considering I was really sick for a little over a week and all the problems my autoimmune whatever has been causing me, I am pretty pleased for continuing to be consistent with running. :)

    Took till the last day of February but I ran to my goal.

    @dennie24 3miles at 12degrees is a cold run, especially if you're not used to it. You did great this month! Hope to see you again in the March challenge.

    @Whtmask You ran 95 miles past your goal for a total of (*) 235.5 miles (*) That's fierce. I'll admit it, I'm a little jealous. Can't wait to see what you'll run next month.
