On a related note, I confess that sometimes I commandeer my wife's bath pillow & bath salts, turn on the shower radio, and soak in the tub for an hour.

Yes! Baths are totally not gender specific and should be enjoyed by everyone

I felt a little less hostile last night after an intense workout. I also got to eat at one of my favorite places AND I bought some new workout clothes so that helped too.

    I hate sharing food.

I went to a restaurant with a bunch of gym friends, not realizing it was family style. I ordered some tofu and when it arrived, people started eating off the plate. I realized the deal at that point, and ordered another since by the time the plate came to me it was empty. I was annoyed, but whatever.

The second one came and the same thing happened. I excused myself, implying that I was going outside to have a cigarette, went downstairs to the mall food court and ate a veggie burger and fries. When I came back I said nothing and just smiled and ordered a drink like nothing had happened.

It was that or lose it on the next person who touched my #%€*@& tofu.

So do I. My boyfriend love sharing food and often asks for some of mine. Noo. I don't ask for yours, don't ask for mine.

    I hate family style/sharing dinners.

I lied when I first started my Journey on myfitnesspal app and on all my medical forms because I was so fat that the scales couldn't reach the weight I actually was. I knew the exact weight because I work at a hospital and they had a special scale for really obese people. Now that I've lost 80 pounds, I'm feeling really stupid. I was 452 pounds in October. I weighed in today at 372.

That's some serious weightloss, well done!

Tapas restaurants I can handle if I know what it is going in. Family style, I hate!

I get really jealous when other people get delicious food, and I don't. My husband is going out for ribs tonight with a buddy, and I'm scowling about the spaghetti I planned for dinner.

I get irrationally angry at my husband because he goes out to lunch every day and I'm stuck eating leftovers or whatever I have time to throw in my lunch bag.

Oh I never thought your story was made up! It was inspiring. It's great to have wonderful friends and this is a great story on how to personally be a better friend. That was incredibly thoughtful and I am not sure I would have thought to do it. But will if I ever get married now!

I did not necessarily think you did....I just wanted to make clear that I did not just make that story up to write in that post.....I must go back and read the rest of it now....

Here we go.... here we go. I can do this essay. I've got this. I have a goal and if I accomplish it I will be buying myself a dress from Boutique 1886 AND a bottle of wine (possibly vodka) for good measure. I feel like crying :(

CONFESSION: I ate 3600 calories today... And I haven't exercised one bit... I'm scared it's going to affect my motivation to get back on track...

I have one friend who always talks to me when I have my headphones in at school. Sometimes she comes up behind me and grabs my shoulder also, which really freaks me out if I haven't heard her coming
If I'm in the library and I have my headphones in and am typing intensely, I'm either doing work or trying to deal with panic/depression and either way I don't want to talk. But then I feel like a bad person. v_v

I think we talked about this before, way up thread. Food jealousy. The struggle is real.

PS- didn't make spaghetti. Got chili cheese fries instead. Whoops.

I wear the spanx-like underbody garments under my clothes M-F, but not for the appearance of looking slimmer. The compression makes my tummy appear tighter and I'm trying to prevent and tighten the loose skin in that area as much as possible.

I just found out that, instead of being 3500 words, my essay is 2000-2500. Offers a bit of relief! I compiled a list of rewards to give myself for each 500 words. It's a little embarrassing that I have to resort to doing that to complete a simple essay... my last and toughest semester. I might just order myself spanx after seeing that confession, hahaha. I never used it.... I guess it shapes up your figure?? I'm a bit curious.

Does using spanx really help with avoiding saggy skin?

I watched the whole third season of American Horror Story in one night. 13 45-minute long episodes. Yep. You are not alone with the binge watching.

    Is Daredevil any good?

Yes! A bit overhyped IMO or maybe it's just because I'm more into less dark shows, but still good, and definitely got better after a few episodes (I'm only on episode 6 I think... just watching pretty much one episode at a time with my husband when we have time).

And I've binge-watched way too many shows (all of Stargate, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Gilmore Girl, House, Ally Mc Beal, Grey's Anatomy, Lost Girl, Orphan Black, Vampire Diaries...) but it's limited because of the kids, and I haven't found any binge-worthy show in a while (I keep thinking I want to get back into XFiles or Fringe but I get kinda bored after one episode).

We're massive binge watchers, currently doing Primeval.

Confession: I'm 250 cals in the red and don't care because it's telling me I'd be 3kg lighter in 5 weeks anyway. score.

I feel that way about "Breaking Bad". Everyone goes on about what a fantastic show it is, but I just can't get into it. Right now, I'm binge-watching "Murder, She Wrote", lol. It's one of my all-time favorites :)

So, speaking of feeling like a fraud... I'm down almost 37 pounds as of this morning. I'm still just above 260 pounds. I was 300 in January. What I'm doing is working well for me.

Anyway, I haven't seen my cousin (more like a sister) in a year because she keeps making plans and cancelling. She has mentioned repeatedly that she's at her highest weight ever and I think that is the reason. We text all day everyday so we are pretty close.

She went to see a dietician a few days ago who told her *drumroll* "eat more and eat more often -at least every two hours- to lose weight". That was her take on it anyway.

I just listened and felt like a fraud. I can't say "I've lost x and this is how" because I want to see her and I know that she's super self concious about gaining weight. I hope that makes sense. I don't want her to know that I'm losing while she's gaining and it make her less likely to show up. Also, I don't feel like a whole lot of people want diet advice from someone overweight.

Confession: I love my job, but hate the management staff that I work for. I have one manager that just talks all the damn time. Most of the time it's the stupidest stuff that comes out of his mouth. It's to point that when I hear his voice, I just want to stab him in the throat with a rusty knife. I would never do that of course, His voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I've been in my job for a long time and this kid keeps trying to "teach" me my job. He doesn't know policy or procedures, he interferes with my clients way to much and to top it off he is Lazy. When I need him to actually do something, I have to remind him multiple times or he brushes it off on someone else. I have even complained to upper management, to no avail, it has only made me a target for workplace bullying and intimidation. I'm starting to look for other jobs, but I would really like to keep this one. Great medical benefits plus I get 6 weeks of vacation every year. This guy has me so exhausted right now that I don't even have the energy to complain about the other two managers. Sorry, but I just needed to get that out :(
