    My goals for the week:

    Eat healthier
    Drink as much water as possible
    Exercise Tues am, Wed and Thurs pm
    Run my 5k on Sat in 1hr45mins or less
    RELAX on Sunday ;-P

    That's a little over 2lbs a week, but I know I can do it. I have to keep the momentum going.

    porffor - I have gained with every kid. I lose a little each time, but not down to pre-pregnancy weight. Now that I am done having kids, I need to lose the weight. No more using pregnancy as an excuse!

    Hello All! Hope I'm not too late - logged in today for the 1st time in quite awhile hoping I'd find a challenge to help me stay accountable.

    I'm Amy, Mom of 3 (9,7,5)

    My CW = 205

    Since I had my last baby (5 years ago this coming Sunday) I have gotten down to 178 at least 4 times. Then I lose focus, and I'm back up around the 200 mark again.

    My goal by 4th of July is to be down 12 pounds (~193).

    My other goals are:

    1. Log food each day
    2. Avoid Caffeine
    3. Increase activity level.

    Looking forward to this challenge!
  • Thanks for the crash course :) I'm still relatively new to MFP so I'm still trying to figure out abbreviations and rules! I'm excited to do this challenge with all of you guys!

    Hi All- I am happy to join a new challenge, this will be my first one so I hope I do okay!

    My CW-203
    My goal by the 4th of July is to lose 12 pounds so GW 191!

    I have been fighting a weight loss battle forever it seems like. I really want to get down to a healthy weight level.

    I have a hard time excercising, and getting my butt up off the couch, but the worst part is food. I LOVE food! I wish all of you luck! Feel free to friend me, I can use all the support and encouragement I can get.

    2) Drink at least 64 oz water a day
    3) Exercise 30 minutes a day 6 X week

    I am in CW 220.6 GW by 7/4/11 will be 205!

    Goals for the week:
    Log all my cheats especially cookies :mad:
    Burn at least 3500 calories with excercising
    DON"T gain weight
    Stay positive!
    No FAST FOOD (Starting today)

    Boo I weighed in today sw 175. I gained! I knew I would but I think I'm retaining a lot of water too. I worked out today but I wasn't feeling it work was a mad house and they bought pizza for all of us- if the drugs are in front of me I'm going to use them. ( thats thr best analogy i can think of) Plus I felt I deserved it lol ugh.
    Starting tomorrow I will log everything to the best of my ability. I sometimes give up if I got out to breakfast and get something like an omelete- how much cheese eggs bacon ect I'm a bad guesser. Drink at least the recommended 64 and exercise everyday. I am trying to do these all already- one new thing is watch my sugar intake more and eat more protein :) I don't know what my goal should be but im hoping for in the low 160s.

    (2) Eat more veggies!
    (3) Eat 5 small meals a day (I have a horrible habit of just eating one huge meal and maybe a snack)

    Goals for the week? Well, here they go:

    Goals for the week:

    1 To keep with the running program (I start week 3 of the cto5k tomorrow!)
    2 To stay steadfast with my diet
    3 To add in 2 days of strength training...doesn't matter what. I am trying out slim in 6. We'll see.
    4 To stay off the scale until Friday. This one is going to be hard. I tend to get distracted by the scale...

    Really, the scale one is the hardest. I think my tactic will be to drink a gigantic glass of water when I first wake up. So my weight won't be "the real one" if I am tempted to get one it. I hope it works!
