That would've amazing!0 -

I took before picture and was shocked .that should b more then enough to keep me on track this time.
I feel for you because I was close to where you are now, minus 20lbs.. You just have to go for it and not look back!
I have my daughter but I also had a son. He was 10 years old when he suddenly passed in 2010. Sometimes, the deeper the pain, the more fight there is in us. I encourage you to do this for yourself and for your 2 boys who are here with you. We don't want to waste our lives away in a depression and somber day after the next.
You have it in you, you just have to dig deep and make up your mind that you want this, that you CAN do it and that you WILL do it.
thanks so much.

Thank you! My current macros are set at 45p/25c/30f, as of a few weeks ago.
My home routine was only doing so much for me at this point, so I have been lifting heavy at the gym now for about a month and doing a ton of new exercises. Had to adjust to accommodate the higher intensity work outs.1 -
Love videos..... I changed macros today .. .and I'm going for it workouts start tonight.

I started using supplements around 9 months into my journey (one Orgain chocolate shake/day). For almost that first year, I got all of my protein from whole foods.
I have try MANY products out there in terms of supplements, for taste, ingredients and how they make me feel, trying to find the "good ones" (there are millions of things to try so by no means am I an expert but I know what I like ).
Supplements give your body the extra nutrients it needs, while being on a "restricted diet", which is basically eating at a deficit. I am a big believer in supplements (dependent on your goals of course).2 -

I am 33 years old and 5'3". I started this difficult journey in Jan of 2014 at 205lbs and I had JUST hit a size 20!!! In Dec 2014, I got down to a size 8 and around 135lbs! I feel great and am loving who I am becoming now! I'm learning a TON and meeting a lot of great people in the process.
I came across MFP in June of last year. I have kept a moderate calorie deficit pretty consistently (500 or so each day), with my carbs and protein around 100g each while lifting weights regularly (in my home with my own collected equipment), 5-6 times/week. I didn't do much cardio, as I don't enjoy it. I do run on occasion though. I feel empowered now and I absolutely LOVE strength training! Planning to take new progress pics at the end of June so I'm looking forward to that.
Here is my story so far on realbodiesrealresults.com. Feel free to check it out!

Best wishes to you all, anything is possible if you don't give up!

Plz tell me how to get your arms like that. I'm 5 ft 3 now weighing 129 lbs but my arms are massive at the top. I do go the gym but don't know what weight training I should be doing. X0

WOW! Girl I have never seen results from strength training that made me actually want to give it a try. Thank you so much for sharing your transformation with us!0

Hi, congratulations! So strength training? That's amazing! I've basically only been walking, and doing aerobics, and lost 20lbs, so far~ (In less than 2 months, might I add! ) I'm definitely going to have to try incorporating weights into my routines. From your pictures, you look absolutely stunning! Your journey/results actually eases my mind about building too much muscle from strength training. (Which is what I DON'T want. >_<)0 -

Thank you, it definitely feels a bit early to be adding protein supplements. The week before last I lost two pounds in two weeks, i started your routine this week and I lost three pounds in one week!0 -

As a woman - you'd be hard pressed to even if you wanted them. Just don't take steroids and testosterone to work against your body's natural hormones.0
