When you count out 12 chips at the mexican restaurant and put them on the napkin in front of you.6

I become hungry/thirsty, only an hour or two before; I am about to weigh/measure myself & force myself, to wait until after.
Also make sure that my bladder is empty or wait until after I move my bowels, if it's only approximately a few minutes; before I weigh/measure myself.1 -

When it happened to me I ran to the store to buy one before dinner, lol.
Lol, I was considering it!! Looked up a few online at Target etc. but the ones I saw on Amazon had much better reviews and were cheaper too. So I'm waiting. Impatiently

When you eat before you go to a restaurant and then only order a diet soda at said restaurant or bring food with you to the restaurant because . . . you know, you just can't. Guilty, and guilty. Sad face.0

(this one is awkward, so if you are a prude look away now)
You wonder at the caloric implications of err.. certain bedroom activities...
No need to wonder, science to the rescue: https://sites.google.com/site/compendiumofphysicalactivities/Activity-Categories/sexual-activity2 -

Charging your FitBit becomes a fraught affair, as you need to ensure that it is done at a time where you are as inactive as possible, so you don't miss any activity, but you don't want to do it overnight because you're fascinated by the sleep tracking.13

Eating random foods just before bed time because you're trying to hit your macros6

When you twitch if you see people just eating food without any considerations to the calories or macros...
When you weigh the food for the goats because they need to meet their macros and micros too....5 -

You obviously haven't thought of keeping a usb charger base in your bathroom and plugging it in when you're in the shower ;p
Being able to stop at 2 or 3 slices of pizza instead of automatically eating the whole thing.2 -
When you log into MFP after midnight every night, just to make sure you don't lose your streak if you get busy the next day.4

You notice that over time you see your body as a chemistry set more than just something you shovel food into
I talk about what I'm going to eat for lunch based on my workout after work. Coworkers look at me like I just stepped off a UFO.

I do a lot of this stuff and have been told by MFPers I have disordered eating. Is it because I do it in public?1

When you have a notebook full of nutritional information that you've calculated yourself for recipes you've seen on online that didn't provide that information.
When you buy chicken breasts/pork steaks/fish fillets in bulk and trim, weigh and label every single one before freezing to make pre-logging easier.6 -

When you have a notebook next to your digital scale with all kinds of mathematical equations written on it.
I just put the calculator as a shortcut on the bottom bar of my computer for that purpose.pteryndactyl wrote: »When your food scale breaks and you get irrationally sad and annoyed that you won't be able to log accurately for two days until Amazon delivers the new one you ordered.

I had 3 at some point, but two died (one got drowned by my dear husband).
Regarding Fitbit, the charging part and getting upset when I forgot to wear it is one of the reasons I stopped using it. That, and in Summer when you're only wearing dresses, it's tough to find a place to clip it on.0 -
You are kind of disappointed when you've planned your dinner to hit your macros, get home from work and your husband is already cooking dinner. You won't hit your macros and nothing will have been weighed.
It happens rarely enough that it isn't worth stressing about. It is nice not to have to cook sometimes.6 -

Hahaha yesss! I even keep a charger in the car to make use of the time I'm stuck in traffic.3 -
You get annoyed by last minute dinner invitations when you've already prelogged your day and don't necessarily have a ton of calories left for dinner.

THIIIIIS!!! And then you accidentally forget it and it's the worst day ever.

When splitting something with my husband means he is so totally getting the bigger half. I'm saving my calories for later!0

When you click on the "complete this entry" button right after logging dinner so that you're not tempted to snack in the evening. (I'm too embarrassed to add a snack after I've finished logging for the day, and refuse to cheat, so it's cut out my evening nibbles entirely!)
Ha! Yep. That works for me too!
I pre-logged ice-cream last night and then didn't even eat it. Now I have to go back to yesterday's log and change it...

I see my kids food as calories in food shape and worry when they don't finish their food. But you only ate 30 calories!1
