Stuck mostly to yesterday's goals - I had a whole sandwich at Panera instead of half and half a salad. I consciously made the decision to do that, so I'm happy with the decision. And I went to sleep at 10!! It was because I was exhausted, but it was still 10!

    JFT
    1. Walk the last two flights of stairs at work if I end up going downstairs for anything (work on the 7th floor) - this one is also for tomorrow morning.
    2. Go to bed at a reasonable hour again.
    3. Stick to eating plan for dinner tonight - cooking at home.

    ~Chelle[/quote]

Met the first and third goal from yesterday. Bed was at 11pm instead of 10pm, but still better than 1am!

I'm going to do today's and tomorrow's - not sure I'll be able to log in tomorrow.

    JFT 9/24
    1. Continue walking the last two flights of stairs at work
    2. Walk down the 7 flights of stairs to go home from work tonight
    3. Bed at a reasonable hour
    4. Stick to tonight's dinner plan

    JFT 9/25
    1. Continue walking up the last two flights of stairs at work
    2. Stick to today's lunch plan - cookout with my department at work. I have pre-planned and pre-tracked what I plan on eating.

Well, I was devastated by the bag of caramels at my bedside last night. Ate 15 of them sucker, which was 480 calories, so it blew my calories for the day. At least it was only 15, brought the rest of the bag to work with me this morning and gave them to my secretary!!!! Didn't get up to walk this am, going to set my alarm in the morning! But did get a 4 mile walk in yesterday with 1.4 of it jogging! Plan to do the same today!! I always tell myself today is a new day. Put in some prayers for all of those on the religious pilgrimage that died overseas! So horrible.

    Just for today:
    1) Stay in my calorie range
    2) Drink 8 glasses of water
    3) Walk/jog 4 miles after work
    4) Be kinder to myself and others.
    5) Remember to be thankful for what I have on a daily basis

    J4T Thursday

    1. Focus on sticking to calorie goals one meal at a time
    2. Take breakfast lunch and snack to work
    3. Go jogging or swimming after work. jogged 5k.

I'm at 200.00 pounds tonight. I know I should be careful about putting too much focus on the scale but, darn it, I am so psyched about getting under 200!!!!

    J4T Friday
    1. Get up early enough to be sure that I can plan and pack up breakfast lunch and snack to take to work.
    2. Focus on my calorie goals one meal at a time.
    3. Be Very Careful at dinner and after.

Good idea, I think I will focus today on sticking to calorie goals one meal at a time instead of looking at the whole day of calories, will give this a try. You are either up very early or up very late.

No, actually I usually post in the late evening befor I go to bed, but not too late. I guess it depends on time zones because to me it looks like you posted at 4 am. I posted at 11 pm from Colorado.

I have been focusing on each meal for about two weeks now and it has really helped me. I am eating no more than 300 for breakfast, 300 for lunch and 600 for dinner and if I have a little left over from each, it adds up to a nice little evening snack.

I find it helps not to have any food in the bedroom. It is too much temptation. :)

    Rocked it yesterday. :)

JFT - traveling. Will not use that as an excuse to go crazy with the eating. Won't get much walking in because even if we stop for a break it is supposed to rain all day!!!

Just need to get out of this bed and walk some before we leave!

I am expressing gratitude for some of the best wellness advice I've ever received. "If you don't feel like working out, do something small." Didn't want to treadmill walk last night but talked myself into 1 mike. 1 turned into a solid 3 miles.

Tough day. Expedited my return for aging parent issues.

    Was under my calorie goal.
    Didn't work out.
    Didn't express my wellness mantra

    For today:

I will stay under my calorie goal.
I will work out for 80 minutes.

I am expressing gratitude for my mother in law with a focus on the commitment she had to fitness.

Had a scare over the past few weeks. Found a lump under my arm. Had ultrasound biopsy planned for yesterday but lump was gone so no biopsy needed! VERY grateful. As a breast cancer survivor, there is always that fear when anything suspicious pops up. *PHEW* So, today I can relax and just breathe.

    So....JFT

take time tonight to read something light
Journal and come up with some daily affirmations
Plan this weekend and next week's meals and put together grocery list
