Hi Amber I think most of us agree that CC works when you stay on plan. We all ahve hurdles and trigger foods that get in the way occasionally. I've lost about 14lbs in three weeks. You cab also browse through bodybuilding.com for additional info while you're waiting for your book to arrive. Wishing you much success!0 -
Yes YOU DO ROCK ANGEL !!! Way to go ! Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing your photo !!0

Can you do this diet with just cardio? I really don't want to lift weights right now. I do want to in the future but right now I just want to do cardio. Does this program work with just cardio?0

Amber, yes, I believe it will work with all kinds of exercise and with no exercise. This diet cycles low carb with high carb days, and watches overall calories. As long as you're eating at a deficit, you will most likely lose.0

I am reading through the reviews on Amazon about the book. I am reading a lot of people don't understand about how many carbs grams to eat each meal. Can someone tell me how you calculate your carbs per meal?0

Hi Amber ...I wrote it all out on page 10 or 11 ....scroll back a few pages on here0

Have you guys thought about making this a group so its easier to find. I use to have a place that let me click if I commented somewhere but that is now gone. I have to search this thread every time i want to comment or read.0

That is a interesting thought. I put it here thinking it would be more visible to people. If the others agree that a Group setting is preferred, I'm up for that.0

When you started your diet did the weight and inches fall off easy or did it seem to take a bit before noticing a difference?0

For me, I had a significant loss the first week....be it water or what, I was happy because the next week I was down another pound....from that point on it's been 1-2 pounds consistently. I also walk and do Jilliam michaels 30 day shred...although I'm seeing some different curves and strength/ endurance gains, my measurements did not change the first month. I have to admit I was disappointed with this, but continue to work on it. I have about 90 pounds to lose....0

Correction I now have 89 till goal! I just weighed in lol.... But seriously the number is not near as important to me as my size....started at a 22. Goal would be 14 or less....I'm 5'8 lg frame0

It's been slower for me- about a 1 lb. loss per week most weeks- but I'm doing this for more of a true long-term lifestyle change versus a quick weight loss solution. And my actual body composition and overall "look" has changed dramatically since I'm doing a strength training program along with the carb cycling. I do weight training 4 days a week + cardio and then cardio/power yoga/group fitness classes the other 3 days.0 -
pwrfl1 i have 50 to lose and for me its more about the number going down. My husband and i are going to try to have a baby but i do not want to get pregnant and put weight on top of weight. I have had two ectopic pregnancies so far and I don't know if weight has anything to do with it but I am not trying again until i lose weight.0

I work 12 hour days with a 40 minute drive to and from work. I dispatch so I sit during my shift. Its hard to get motivated to go to the gym but i am going to try plus the carb cycling.0
