    JFT(Wednesday)-I will walk my maximum daily steps till day, today.-Done.
    JFT(Thursday)-I will do an exercise workout class today.

    Just for today, Thursday I will work out at least 30 min and eat half the food on my plate.

    TODAY: Stay within daily calorie goal; drink water; strength train at gym tonight; focus on total calories each meal; and focus on 10 lbs weight loss by end of the year - aim for that!

    Was below my calorie objective and made good choices. Exercised control over Halloween Candy.
    Worked out for 98 minutes including a 3.3 mile walk at a 16:08/mile pace
    Expressed my wellness mantra
    Exhibited patience when dealing with contractors

    For today:

    I will stay below my calorie objective for the third straight day and not overindulge in any single food.
    I will work out for 50 minutes
    I will express my wellness mantra
    I will continue to work on patience in my daily life
    I am expressing gratitude for my lovely bride who walked the fine line between motivating me out the door to walk last night and pushing too hard.

    2. Can't walk tonite, but try and get on the ellipitical :/ Got busy sewing, and then it was too late, or I'd be up all nite. So hoping today to get another 5 mile walk in.

    Have been neglecting myself while giving my all at work and to family. Time to REFOCUS:

    J4T (Wednesday)

    1. Stick to my pre-logged breakfast, lunch and snacks at work. - DONE
    2. 8 glasses of water - FELL A FEW GLASSES SHORT
    3. No added sugar today - COMPLETE FAIL!!!
    4. Stop beating myself up. Be kinder to myself inside my head. - Eh.....
    5. Come up with a daily affirmation. - DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO DO THIS EITHER. *SIGH*

    I don't know why I keep trying. I never manage to meet my goals!

    J4T (Thursday)

    1. GET MY WATER IN!!!!
    2. Stay away from dairy and added sugar
    3. 30 minutes of "me" time
    4. At least 5000+ steps

    (If I can just get 8 glasses of water in today and stay away from candy and ice cream at 8 p.m., I'll consider it a successful day!)

    Just for today...I love the idea. I'm going to log everything and just turn on the treadmill. I don't even have to stand on it! (Although, if it's already on...) It's my first day back on mfp after a 3 week hiatus so even just posting here is totally motivating!

    Send me a friend request if you want some extra motivation too. :smile:

    You are doing great, just getting on here! But I know what you mean about the icecream = seems if I get started, I just can't stop. Hang in there. Even if just to maintain!!

    JFT - Friday I will get back on program. Been away on vacation for 3 days and ate too much. Will log all my food and stay within goal. Can't go back to my old habits.

    two days late but got the dress altered, instead of a sack, it actually shows the good curves and doesn't leave my bra hanging out the back. because it's stretchy fabric I probably could have taken more in or done better with changing the lines, but it's so easy to just use the existing seam as a guide and run another seam inside the old one.

    SO JFT Friday; brush/floss before bed. 2) get some exercise in tonight.

    Was over my calorie objective
    Didn't work out
    Didn't express my wellness mantra
    Am making progress on the patience thing

    For today, back on track:

    I will stay under my calorie goal
    I will work out for 90 minutes. Exercise and eating better/in moderation go hand in hand for me
    I will express my wellness mantra when I finish updating MFP
    I will continue to make progress on being more patient in all aspects of my life
    I am expressing gratitude for progress towards retirement goals

    JFT: I will exercise for an hour.
    I will do better with my water intake.
    I will stay within my calorie goal, staying away from junk food.
    I will NOT be tempted to snack tonight (a hard one for me)

    Joan, love the quilt. My grandmother would call this a "Dresden Plate" quilt. Beautiful work!

    Challenging week & feel I've slipped up in areas of emotional eating. Went to bed early & grateful I made the choice I did. Back on track!
    I will drink 9 plus cups of water.
    Get my work out in.
    Complete part of a church project today.
    Run towards a fear or something that has been an obstacle.
    PRETRACKED most if my meals today already.
    Eat light supper.
    Read/listen to something inspirational.
    Pull out winter clothes this weekend!
