5 k run... Used Runkeeper app for the first time and cut a minute off my time as that lady kept telling me how fast I was going and I was afraid to slow down
i LOVE runkeeper...i have been using it since aug 2009....
ps updated ticker with my 1mile before and after wts last night....
I LOVE RUNKEEPER THREE!!!! It helped a lot when I was doing the training for the Avon Walk.
After the walk, I had a crazy muscle spasm thingy going on in my left shoulder (go figure, not in my legs :huh: ). So, today I went in for a one hour massage My first and it was AMAZING!!!!
BUT, before I did that, I did the following:
1.92 miles jogged on the treadmill
1.63 miles walked to the place where I got my massage (I was going to go in the sauna first, but Chicago provided a free sauna for me on the way :laugh: )
Total mileage for today: 3.55 miles!! I hope to transition more into miles run than walked. And I am starting the 30 Day EA Active Challenge this afternoon. :drinker:
My staycation has been fabulous thus far!!!

Ran 2.2 miles this evening outside. It was 90 degrees with a heat index of 97.....but man did the workout feel good!0

Rain stopped and the sun shined so I got in 4 miles while pushing the grandsom in the baby jogger! Tomorrow is rain AGAIN!!0

Ran 2.15, then walked .25 to cool down for a total of 2.4 for the day.
It was my last run before Warrior Dash on Saturday. I think after tackling the hills in my 'hood at 80 degrees and 75% humidity today, woods, mud, creeks and swamps are going feel cool and refreshing!0 -

I've been really bad about posting, but I have been moving! My ticker is updated. I won't be posting for the next week and a half, as we're going on vacation. BUT I do plan on moving a lot and recording so I will update when I return!0

@ LorinaLynn - Have fun with the Warrior Dash!!! I'm thinking of doing that in September. What specific trainings have you done to get prepared for it?0 -
