@Skaliwag27. I'd log your chocolate in in the morning and you have the rest of the day to cut a few calories off your other meals. That's what I do- I prelog.

My biggest struggle is when I'm out of town or have friends visiting for the weekend and I stop tracking and exercising for a few days. Any tips?

I find that bringing my protein shake powder and shaker bottle works well. When I'm done with my shake, I fill my shaker bottle with water. I'll have a small shake before bed if I'm still hungry. Good luck.

Everyone's doing so great! I'm not weighing daily because I'll drive myself insane. I started Monday, I'll weigh again Monday. Plan on running today since it'll be warm in PA. :)

Skaliwag 27 -- maybe a few more minutes on the treadmill, elliptical or stationary bike (or whatever you like to do) to be able to enjoy your chocolate and stay under your goal?

Great suggestions! I'm going to try both of those. Thanks!

I am SO glad I don't have a sweet tooth! This is a horrible time of year to battle that. Definitely enjoy that piece of chocolate but just one or two! You deserve it but log it.

I am done with work for the week....this is when it gets tricky. At work I only eat what I packed so it is easy. Being home all day is harder. I can do this though. Pre-logging my food keeps me accountable!

Had two mini bites of candy yesterday and was able to stay in my calorie count. This month is so hard with 4 Thanksgiving dinners, my birthday dinner and Halloween!! Oh noooooo!!!!

I think we have to do what works for each of us individually. I was weighing once a week on maintenance but for this challenge I decided to weigh daily. It is making me stay within my calorie goal and I am ramping up my exercise so Zi can get these 4 lbs off before we leave for PA for Thanksgiving.

My son is in West Chester and he said it was nice for their Halloween parade this evening. It was bitter there last winter!!

So my struggle is sugar too. It is so easy to give into a piece of candy here and there. I am working to stay within my daily sugar goal. Another thing I have been doing is not eating after 8pm. I am on my 18th day of tracking so I feel good about this.

Everyone keep it up! We can do this!

It helps reading all your comments. I dusted off my diary and will begin tracking. Life is too short to not live it as healthy as possible.

So two weeks ago I am 132.4, my lowest yet, and then last week I am up to 134.2 (?), and today down to 132.8. Really trying to stay under calories each day. Trying to switch up exercise to see if I can break through some of this. Feel like so close yet so far.
