The Ultimate Before and After 30 Day Shred Thread

I've been seriously thinking about starting 30DS and this thread has convinced me to do it!!! I'm going to check with comcast on demand and pick up some weights. I think I'll start on monday!
Current;y, I go to the gym 5-6days per week and do yoga 3-4days per week....I have a feeling I will not be able to continue with my routine and do the shred so maybe cut gym and yoga days??? Also, I am not around most weekends so do you think it'd be ok to take a two break once a week??
Everyone looks just absolutely amazing and good luck to all those still working on it!!!!!!!!!
I just remembered I am going away for the 4th of July weekend...long weekend....should I start and then take a 6 days break of wait til I get back???0 -

Hadn't even considered this before I saw this post. This post inspired me to do the 30 DS, I ordered mine today. I won't be able to start until next month because of planned tips and order shipping time though, either way I can't wait! Thanks to everyone for the find.0

After seeing everyones results I'm gonna try to do this again lol I've tried a few times in the past and failed lol Well I'll do it as soon as all my stuff gets to my house (just did a military move to Germany) hopefully we get our stuff next week so I'll have my scale and tape measure and everything! Great job everybody!!0

wow guys, you can certainly see that the hard work pays off. i feel motivated to start this again. i'm halfway through C25K so it should help keeping my routine varied.0

Doing round 2 of the shred. First time around I lost no lbs. but 2.5 inches off my waist and 2.5 inches off my hips!1

This has inspired me to start the 30DS again. I started last month and did the first two days then got the flu and i havent started back up yet!0

Bump!!! I just completed day 8 today took measurements but not pictures....maybe I should. I can feel a huge difference already. Quite excited!0

shalynna89...........wow, wow, wow! you look absolutely freaking amazing! congratulations to you! I too have just started shredding (started 3days ago) and hope to have such great results! I am loving the fact that this workout is only 20 minutes, yet so effective! Good luck to everyone else, can't wait to see more success stories!0

I did day one on on demand and they have day too also but I plan on buying it tomorrow. I tried day one once before and was sore for 2 days after and gave up (a few months ago) but this time I will not let her win I will do this I'm just scared about how sore I will be tomorrow. I will have to get some before pictures tonight.0

Finished Day 2 today + I worked out with my personal trainer. . .I am beat, but so satisfied with myself. I have never worked myself this hard, and I am already seeing results. While my body ached, I was able to complete every jumping jack and push up without pausing.0

I wanna try it, but im currently doing P90x lean and i dont know if it would be too much doing 2 sets of workouts each day...
im going to look into it though..
Because if im not able to do it now im DEFINATELY going to try it once P90 is over!0 -
Hi, i did this in August of last year. Without dieting as such (i just cut out snacks, didn't alter portion sizes etc), i lost 7lbs and 5.5". I am 5"6 and weighed about 12st 8 at the time.
If i'm being totally honest i didn't enjoy it that much, but i gritted my teeth and i'm so glad i did because it got me into the routine of exercise and i havn't looked back since.
I remember not being able to breath during L1, now i don't even break a sweat, i need to do L's 2 and 3 together for that. I think L2 is best for cardio, L3 for strength. I rarely do it these days unless i'm pressed for time...that's the best thing about it, it's really short.0 -

On the 30-day-shred DVD, there is a phrase that Jillian repeats a few times and I can't for the life of me understand what she is saying. It sounds like she says, "Don't phone it in". Does anybody know what she is really saying?!? Driving me nuts!0

Today was day two of the Shred for me! Wowza, am I sore! But, I didn't take as many short breaks as day one and I'm actually starting to feel better. I plan on doing Ripped in 30 after I complete the 30DS.
The "after" photos are so very inspiring! You all look gorgeous. I hope to have some awesome "after" photos once I'm done.0 -

Yep! Think about it in terms of; you're hung over and tempted to put in a really pathetic call to your boss at work saying you think you might have pneumonia; like calling in sick. But because you decide to buck the hell up & gut it out, you're not phoning it in0
