I worked a shift in the kitchen at work last night and, in spite of having taco bar available for lunch and turkey, roast beef, loaded mashed potatoes, veggies loaded with butter, cake and pie available for dinner, I came in under goal!! AND because I kept my sodium intake under control, my feet didn't swell!!!! GO ME!!5

There are a few. I dropped another pant size; that's two in the last few months! Crossing my legs is also for some reason very natural for me now and preferred when sitting. Weird I know, but it sticks out because it used to be such an uncomfortable and forced act. The small things we notice...
Yesterday was my 100th day logging in. Such a short time it seems, but I did it. It's unreal to think that after 15 years of dealing with this, a simple free website would be the catalyst for me maintaining motivation. Best NSV ever...10 -

All of my old "small" clothes set aside over the last 15-16 years including some pants never worn now fit me! Now I have to decided if I'll stop here or go further (and then have to buy new clothes!)4

My 11yo son, who hates anything that involves effort on his part, confessed to me that he had enjoyed the 3-mile walk we went on yesterday. You could say that I was shocked (I was) but I was also delighted that the good habits we are developing as a family are finally doing him (all of us) some good. Mind you, it's only taken about 600 miles for him to LIKE walking - hopefully he will learn to love walking/exercise and it will be something that stays with him for life.5

Wrapped myself in a regular bath towel after my shower today and it covered my whole torso!
It seems lame, but not being able to use a regular bath towel really bothered me. Now I don't have to use two when I need to walk to/from the bathroom.7 -
Ran 4.5km non stop and finish the couch to 5k program this week! Furthest I've run since intermediate school!
And I'm down to notch two on my long watch strap, looking forward to when it's too small and I have to replace it with a normal size watch strap!!2 -
I lost control at brunch this morning and ended up eating all but 14 of my calories for the day after I logged it. It's 6pm now and I'm still not hungry so I know that I can go the rest of the day without eating and still come under my goal. In the past I would just binge and take it as today being a loss and eat a ton more but I admitted I lost control, logged my food, examined the damage, and decided how to fix it. That's a NSV for me19

I have several cute short-jumpsuits that I wore on a beach vacation several years ago, that were too tight to wear on last year's beach vacation. One of my goals was to wear them on an upcoming beach vacation...tried them on today and they fit! The top on a couple of them are halter tops...the back keeps rolling down, so might be a little too big!
Vacation isn't for like a month and a half so they might be really too big to wear on vacation (keeps showing my bra). If they get too big I'll just use them as swimsuit cover ups instead.
Scale isn't moving much lately, but nice to know that I'm still losing inches!4 -
Took my beautiful, almost 8 year old, daughter out for her first "run" with mom. It was awesome we warmed up and did a run/walk interval around our neighborhood park for 2.1 miles. She did great and talked and chatted to me the entire time!!
I see a lot of runs together in our future! I'm going to get her running shoes for her birthday next month!! Best thing about my healthy lifestyle is knowing that my four beautiful daughters are watching, learning and enjoying a new more active life too!!11 -

Like other MFPers... my new lifestyle is rubbing off on my family! My son helps me with planks, squats and weight-lifting. My daughter walks to come and meet me halfway on my daily 6km walk home from work. Even my husband (who does most of the cooking) pulls out the food scale to use and/or leaves the packaging out so I can check the weight of things (like chicken sausage)... very cool now that my whole family is involved!3

Awesome! my family members are slowwly coming around to some healthier routines and habits. In fact Hubby has "passively" lost weight you know the diet when you're not on a diet due to me eating healthier meals that he helps cook lol1 -

@SpiderGwens I know how you feel on that one. I use to use a beach towel and it still wouldn't fit around me.

I ran 15.1km without a walk break. My previous best was 11.2, and seven months ago I couldn't run for three minutes straight.2

I just cycled 28km in 58 minutes on my stationary bike. On Thursday last week I struggled to do 10km - it's only been a few days but I feel so much fitter already.3

I ordered a pair of Miss Me jeans as new goal pants, never thinking that I would be able to fit into them. They arrived yesterday- and they fit!!!2

I was bagging up my old, too-big clothes this weekend and came across the dress my grandma made me for homecoming in 1998. Just on a whim I decided to put it on; it fits better now than it did when I was 15!6

My most recent NSV involves going clothes shopping. Normally, as a heavy girl, this is a NIGHTMARE. However, I managed to find some jeans that fit perfectly. I broke down crying happy tears in the fitting room. After that, I marched out and got a pair in black, indigo and stonewash, LOL.9

I increased the weights I was using and have been working out consistently.
Did almost 13k steps yesterday.

Maybe slightly TMI, but I can look straight down and only see my chest now. I used to see my stomach poking out past my bosom, so I'm totally stoked about that. >.>9

I never thought back muscles would be a thing I'd want to strive for. Now that they are popping out from twice weekly strength training, I'm super excited! Reminds me of that scene in Twins. "Were you stung by bees???"9

Ran 3 miles today! Normally I stop at just over 2. And did my fastest pace! (Still slow but an improvement!)6

I rode my bike to work today! This is great, because riding home is going to be uphill and a little more work!4
