McDonalds fries are nasty. Unlimited fries from there is not going to inspire me to eat McDonalds more often.5

I would, but damn that auto-playing ad blew my ears.0

I would have small fries, but not all you can eat.0

Back in the day the French fries were delicious. Now they are horrible. I would not be inspired to eat unlimited fries.2

Hmm wish it was BK fries. Or Sonic tots. Good for a splurge.

I used to be a McDonalds french fry lover. Now I find so much more value in just a bag of chips.0
-
No. I don't like them, they're nasty tasting and too much salt.0

I'm not a big fan of Mcds fries, so this doesn't appeal to me at all. However, we have been to other restaurants with unlimited fry options (of better quality fries), and I still didn't go too crazy. Just not worth the calories to me (I'd rather use them for a nice dessert or a second sandwich lol).0

McDonald's fries are not worth it.
I would consider a once in a lifetime binge on Rally's or Wendy's fries or Costco's poutine and White Castle's onion chips. I miss onion chips.1 -
No. This is absolutely ridiculous!!
Way to contribute even more to the obesity crisis McDonalds...6 -
Red Robin has unlimited fries and they are good but after eating a hamburger and drinking a couple glasses if tea I'm always full you really got go in with a game plan

Honestly, how many french fries can people actually eat? I recall as a kid being really excited to go to a restaurant in Quebec that served unlimited french fries with mussels. I'm sure my dad managed to plow his way through a number of plates, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't even finish one serving. In theory it sounds awesome (or horrifying, depending on how you look at it), but really it's more like the restaurant down the street from me with all-you-can-eat pierogi. It's probably not worth the price since you can't eat more than a serving in one sitting anyway...0

I could easily eat at least 2 large fries. But if I have 1000 calories available for that, there is definitely something better I would use it for.

Meh, IMO highly overrated. I could have something way more enjoyable for all those calories. I actually prefer my home cooked meals now. I haven't eaten take out since last year and I don't even miss it! Unlimited fries is just going to make more overweight people and heart disease-the last thing our population needs!1

I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that could shovel tons of fries down their gullet.. Then there'll be those who will eat as many as they can, simply because they are all you can eat :noway:1 -
I love McDonald's fries, but I rarely eat them because they don't fit well in my calorie budget.1

I can eat them if they're RIGHT out of the deep fryer. As soon as they cool off enough to eat faster, they taste like cardboard.0

That's why they sell chocolate shakes.

So I guess we should outlaw all-you-can-eat buffets also.
Or maybe people could, you know, take responsibility for themselves and just have one order of fries. Or order a salad instead. Or not go to Mickey D's at all if they don't like their french fries.
Chances are that the kind of person who'd go into Mickey D's and shovel down 5 or 6 orders of french fries would indulge in some other way anyway if the AYCE fries weren't available.15 -

I saw that and it isn't too far away from where I live. It seems strange that they are going that direction instead of offering different options these days. The other aspects of the new style restaurant are more appealing.
I would not want unlimited fries. A large fry is really too big now. Most of the time these days I just get a salad with my sandwich instead of fries. It'd be nice if they expanded their salad options.

If that's what people want to spend their calories on it doesn't bother me. I'm sure we all eat something that someone else hates. The snobbery is unnecessary and laughable.9
-
If my local McDonald's had a system like the free drink refills where you pay a base price then refill for free, why not? I would just eat my usual small/medium fries order so it wouldn't make much of a difference. If I will be paying extra for that, not worth it. I know that I wouldn't drive to another city for that or re-arrange my plans for the opening day though.0

In Australia the fries only have four ingredients - salt, potatoes, oil, and a preservative. I think they're alright. Not the best chips going but still pretty good.
Aren't they different in the US though?0 -
As good as I am on my diet, I could demolish unlimited french fries or chicken mcnuggets.2
