    Inspired by someone elses post - I decided to put all of my information together.

    HW: 276

    Ok so I am a bit stuck ... but thats just my body working its way through that bigger than usual loss. My scale is consistantly saying between 241 and 242 so I am getting closer to the drop I think!

    Thanks everyone for letting me know your weigh-ins, and great job this week! I can't believe the end of this new week, we will be a month into our challenge!!

    Here's my update: I've only lost 3 pounds so far, I was stuck at 190 for a bit (the first 2 weeks), and I haven't been working out as much as I used to and eating a little too much (but not going horribly over)... this week I'm really gonna work my butt off, go to the gym everyday and no cheating! (thankfully my mom just threw that chocolate cake away that always screams my name as I walk by it!) This Friday I get the keys to my new apartment so that day we'll be moving in a lot of our stuff (we aren't going to fully move in for about a week or so) so I'm not sure if that day will mess up my plan! Also, TOM should be here by in a week or so, so I really want to kick some major butt and lose before that comes and discourages me with water weight!)


    As for this week's challenge, I was thinking of doing bicycle crunches..........not sure how to explain how to do it, so I'll find a youtoube video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPKXFarXbys&feature=relmfu

    (I know in this video she holds a weight behind her head, but this isn't required.....and like always, this challenge isn't required either!! )

    I hope everyone has a wonderful week and stays strong through the holiday weekend! My siblings are coming in for a visit this week with their families, so this could be a real challenge. My goal right now is to at least drink all of my water every day and work out at least 5 of the next 7 days for a minimum of 30 minutes. Those things I can control, and I will. As for the food, I promise to do my best-with cookouts and family gatherings, choices may not be great. Plus the stress of dealing with my 10 siblings-wish me luck!

    Thanks! And to hold myself accountable, I have had 10 cups of water and worked out for 40 minutes today. One day down!

    Thanks to everyone who has sent me their weigh-ins for this week!!! I can't believe how far we are in the challenge!! (tomorrow starts week 6!! 7 weeks left till Labor day!!)

    I've had a really hard week doing this (hell, I've been have a lot of bad weeks lately, I'm pretty sure I said the exact same thing last week). I don't know what it is, I just cannot stay on track. This week, starting today (I'm not really doing anything for the holiday weekend, so I won't have any temptation), I better get back on track because I'm seriously going to scream!
    Not sure what my weigh-in for this week is, TOM has been here and ate horribly, so I'm sure it's back up.
    My goal for tomorrow (July 4th) was to be at 179, last week my weigh in was 187, and since I'm sure it's up this week, I did not meet that goal. My next goal is I really want to get to 175 by July 31st, but I have a very big feeling that will not be happening. From 187 that's 12 pounds in 28 days. Ugghhhh I suck!

    Anyways (Sorry for the self-pity party I just threw), challenge this week is jumping jacks. Yes, I know, no one is really a fan of them, but they're good for you.....I think every challenge has been strength, so this week will be cardio. Oh, and I'm gonna throw in there to make sure you're drinking enough water, because I'm not sure where everyone else lives, but here in Florida, it's just getting hotter and hotter out there as the summer goes on.

    I hope everyone has a safe and great Independence day weekend (go USA!!!!!), and here's to week 6, let's all make this a loss week!! :happy: :drinker:

    I'll email you my specifics. Just joined MFP this week. Sign me up for this challenge! I'm older (just turned 50) so its harder to shed the pounds but I figure losing 10 lbs by Labor Day is doable for me!

    OMG OMG OMG! It's been a HORRIBLE week for me lol. BAD. Family in town, eating out a lot, some drinking O:-), and no exercise in a few days, actually. AND today I'm menstrual. And yet - 163 today! HUZZAH! :-D
