Is that a regular pizza crust? I'm going to pass on that. Unless you can make it with a cauliflower crust.0 -

Oreos4 -
Long time reader, first time poster (to this thread). I'm here to say that perhaps the most satisfying dessert of all time is a tall stack of original Oreos and an ice cold glass of milk for dunking. Near perfection.
Has anyone ever just had milk and Oreos for dinner? As many time as I've sat down for milk and Oreos I'm sure at least once it was for dinner.
When I was a kid my siblings and at different time would go to our bedroom in the evening and slip on a sweatshirt then nonchalantly go into the garage and rifle through the pantry for a sleeve of Oreos and slide them up our sweatshirt sleeves, walk back in and be like "I think I'll go to bed now." And we'd think no one knew what just happened1 -

Carlos_421 wrote: »It was decided in another thread that a discussion around Oreos is in order so here goes.
First, the original Oreos are perfect. No other variety comes close. They have the perfect ratio of cream to cookie and the cookies 'n cream flavor is perfect just the way it is.
Now, if you're at someone else's house and all they have is double stuff, the good news is that while these are entirely subpar to the original, they are still fabulously delicious in a distant second place. The same can be said for peanut butter and brownie batter.
Also, Jugg is wrong because mint Oreos are disgusting sacrilege.
i just wish oreo brand made a gluten free oreo. all the GF knockoffs are horrible.0 -

I've had just Oreos for dinner.
Usually I get a couple meaning to have a snack, then a few more, a few more, and eventually I realize that I'm starting to feel full (and have eaten a sleeve, sleeve and a half). When that happens, I'm stuffed for the rest of the night. I usually feel full and don't eat much the next day, either.1 -

Oreo calorie control, FTW!0 -
It's actually been yeeeeeeeeeeeeears since I've eaten anything there. I actually kinda liked the whipped cream part better than the cheesecake part.0 -
Oreos depress me. Eating them makes me sad for all the people who never get to taste real chocolate. And don't get me started on the "creme" filling, made entirely from whatdafugizzat. Horrible.
Pure 70-75% cacao dark chocolate, unsalted nuts, and perhaps some dried or fresh berries nails it every time.
And I will add that the best chocolate is Trader Joe's 72% Cacao imported from Belgum, available in .5kg bars. One square a day will change your life.0 -

I could say the same about Trader Joe's chocolate. I mean, it's fine. But it's pretty run-of-the-mill. Nothing particularly special.
Why would you think people who eat Oreos never taste 'real' chocolate? And why would you even compare a cookie made with cocoa powder to a chocolate bar? Not at all the same thing.6 -

1) So you think those of us with the good sense to know a good thing have no other access to chocolate?

I was there the other night too! My boyfriend got it and I tried it, it was heavenly. I got this. Also heavenly.

The only Cheesecake Factory cheesecake I've ever really tried is the cookie dough flavor.
Btw, the Oreo S'mores Blizzard is amazing. The Royal Oreo Blizzard is also out, but I'm not really interested in that line.0
