Why is being a stripper bad?

It isn't. People like to enforce their ideas of what is right and wrong as if it's fact; set in stone. The truth about life though is that morals are entirely subjective. At the end of the day, do what feels right to you and remember that your rights end where another person's rights begin.

I am a woman and have no moral objection to stripping. Some strippers likely do very well, however, I think that eventually as one ages the money will vanish. So maybe strip to put yourself through college and then move on? I doubt that most strip clubs offer healthcare, dental and a 401K or pension. Also, not sure how stripper, adult entertainer or exotic dancer will look on your job application when you hit 30. Some potential employers may not care but some will. Think about it.

Just be careful of the weirdos. A strip club maybe better than private, unless you have someone to tag along for security.
My cousin was for a while and she came across many creepy people. Our uncle and her brother played bouncer for her several times.

And are you married? Plan on getting married? You either narrow the pool of men to those who wouldn't mind marrying a stripper, or you lie about your past, which is also hard on your soul.

As long as you don't mind surrounding yourself with drug addicts, sex addicts, compulsive people and servitude to an exploitative business model and business people. That's the experience of the strippers I've known.
