    Not sure if I'm running today. Church then father's day lunch with my father in law (yesterday was dinner with my dad)....
    So probably depends on how much food I've eaten and if I feel up to an evening run. I may just do Monday and Tuesday morning. Or Monday and Wednesday morning. I have no real schedule lately. Just fit it 4 runs a week. Morning running (mid week) opens up a whole new world of opportunities to run B)

    I finally did both my long runs in a weekend! Yay! This week's weather was much more favorable; last week I started at 6 am and it was already 75F. Today, it was 60F when I started at 5:45 and 70F when I finished a little after 8 am. Humidity was lowish (between 65 and 75%), there was a little breeze, and I ran a pretty shady route, so I didn't feel overheated and awful (though I do still smell awful and am drenched head to toe in sweat). I am now chowing down on my post-run Flavor Ice pops and my plan for the day is: eat, shower, nap, eat, nap, eat. YAY NAPS.

    Sorry about the tumble, @MobyCarp . I'm sure you won't let that slow you down too much, though!

    Those are amazing pictures, @Orphia . That looks like a wonderful experience.

    Today I pushed through some achy knees to get started, but other than that had a really pleasant 4.25-mile run on the rail-trail loop. The weather was warmish but only 25% humidity with a little breeze and I was under tree cover for about half of it. My right knee is still feeling a little stiff; not sure what's up with that.

    ETA: It looks like my original goal of 75 miles might not have been out of the question after all!

    Rainy morning so biking was cancelled. Went out for a run and it was so hot! Finally at mile two it started raining and cooled me off.

    6/1 - 22 miles cycling
    6/2 - 5 miles + strength training
    6/3 -rest and recovery day
    6/4 - 34 miles cycling
    6/5 - 42 miles cycling
    6/6 - rest day - only 4 hours sleep - didn’t think I should
    6/7 - strength training + 1 mile on treadmill (tropical storm rest day)
    6/8 - 5 miles - yay! finally. Even though it was 95% humidity.
    6/9 - 6 miles in the daylight!
    6/10 - travel/rest day
    6/11 - 4.28 miles in KC
    6/12 - 5.5 miles in KC
    6/13 - 4.4 miles approx
    6/14 - 5.28 miles - beautiful KC morning!
    6/15 - 5 more KC miles!
    6/16 - 6.1 KC Miles
    6/17 - 5.8 miles - last KC run
    6/18 - rest/travel day.
    6/19 - rainy day, no biking 4.25 miles

    1 June – 10 km with friends for Global Running Day
    3 June – 10 km
    4 June – 5 km parkrun
    5 June – 18 km – furthest distance yet!
    7 June – 7 km
    (11-12 June – 42 km of mountain bushwalking)
    (18 June – First time as parkrun Run Director)
    19 June – 6.4 km
    20 June – 6 km

    Goal: 150 km (93 miles)

    6/6-- 1.5 miles -- jog/ walk on the treadmill (asthma flared up - suck)
    6/7--rest--sick with a cold
    6/8--1.71 miles--jog/ walk with Pan (mostly jogging -yay! a bit wheezy but managed to keep going through it)
    6/9--weights & elliptical
    6/10--2 miles--jog/ walk on treadmill
    6/11--rest day/ dog walking (not counting miles)
    6/13--2 miles--jog/ walk on treadmill
    6/15--1.71 miles--jog/walk with Pan (mostly jogging; very hot & humid at 7pm)
    6/16--1.5 miles--jog/ walk with Pan (mostly jogging; much cooler this evening; knees hurt a bit tho)

    6/19--1.1 miles--did 1 crappy mile on the treadmill when I got a sudden sharp pain under my left knee cap. Tried to run a bit further on it, but pain did not go away. *kitten.* Ice, ibuprofen, & I hope to get to the pool for a swim today. Otherwise I'll do the stationary bike. *kitten* *squirrel* *bunny rabbit*

    Last day of the block! Rest day tomorrow, thank goodness! I managed to work up some speed at the tail end of the group run this morning (mostly because I wanted to be done and get to the coffee part of the day) but oh boy, are my legs tired! I'm not sure that going from 5x25 mpw post-marathon right back into 45-55 mile weeks was all that smart. My legs are just playing catch up right now. If I'm gonna keep this up, I've got to respect the rest days going forward!

    It was really nice out - not nearly as humid. It was like someone had turned on a massive dehumidifier. Very unusual for Orlando this time of year. I suppose Orlando deserves something good at this point. :cry:
    Wish I'd had time to go further but got a lot to do to get ready for vacation tomorrow.
