Slowly getting there. Was hoping to see a bit more movement on the scale this week, but I am happy it is at least moving in the right direction. Sad to see the girls are disappearing...but they always do.

Like sands through the hourglass....
At least what's working this week is to focus on getting lots of protein, watching my fruit portions!
Fruit has natural sugars in it, I try to stay away except for granny smith apples (they have a low glycemic index). If I'm craving a fruit which doesn't happen often, I try to save it for after a work out when my body is still in burning mode. Just my thoughts though! Good job so far!2 -

UGH!! Still going in the WRONG direction!! :-( I think in this case it's TOM. And probably all the salty junk I ate this week!! I know I keep threatening to add another workout to my week & this may tip me over the edge!0 -
completely blew the nutrition and workouts this week. Had a really rough week and turned to my comfort - food. SMH. I have got to get this under control.

Scale is stuck for me. I've been 177 for almost 2 weeks now despite continuing exercise and what not. Although I did eat more carbs than I probably have in the last 6 months..switching to strength training HIIT this week and starting a new strength 12 week program as of yesterday to try and build more muscle to burn more fat.
Let the new week commence! To everyone who needs motivation, we can do this! One day at a time, learn from your mistakes and forgive yourself for slip ups.

After several weekend -setbacks I'm finally admitting, if only to myself, that my lack of good scale-results is completely self imposed. My big win for this week is "taking accountability " and accepting the consequences of the choices I make to self-sabotage. Weighing in at 159.8 today (-1.2 from the start). Working on one small change this week .... no eating after dinner.3

Gained a bit while I was out of town, but the chocolate ganache birthday cake for my mom was just too tempting. Around 142.2 as of today, so have to work to get it down below where I was last week when I weighed in by my record day on Friday. All do-able.0 -
I know I barely comment on this thread. I mostly just update my progress on the spreadsheet. So despite going up to around 232 lbs last Sunday since I attended a wedding the day before, I am happy to see that I went back down to 229.2 lbs yesterday. It helps that I enjoyed walking as time goes by, and that I feel weird when I don't go except on my work days.4

I went away last weekend and it really threw me off! Not making excuses - I definitely earned that weight. But I am still here!2 -
Blew it this week! I managed to hurt my knee so I've only been doing low impact HIIT, no gym
Made some bad food choices coupled with low exercise and gained back the 2 pounds I lost.
Back to 177, live and learn!2 -
