How much I will go from loving winter to not being able to wait for summer to get here lol14

Here's something stupid - I never knew that it would get harder to shave my armpits. There's this sort of rounded hollow space that the razor won't fit into.17

How amazing it feels when you wear something you've always wanted to but never dreamed you could. For me, that was a crop top

How much it sucks when you realize you're one of the one's who is in the process of regaining... and yet not being able to muster up the effort to refocus...23

Since weigh has not been a primary goal like regaining my health by the food that I eat my weight varies a lot as I experiment with different WOE's but since I maintained at 200 pounds for a year eating 2500 calories daily I know doing 8/16 IF can get me right back down. After I lose say 10 pounds I will regain half of it so the brain knows starvation is not in our future.
Hang in there. I just tried to restart dairy and it made me feel bad and the weight shot up so dairy is no longer an option. It is not just carbs that reacts badly with my body. Not having controlling cravings since Nov 2014 has made things easier in my case.2 -
when your sister tells you her wedding is in a year and her goal is to lose 30 lbs by then. You realize 30 lbs is too much for you to lose, you would be too skinny and 20 is a better personal goal.34

That weight loss itself does not necessarily make you happy, or more likable, or a more well-rounded person. You have to love yourself for reasons other then your appearance, because you can get down to your goal weight and still think " I thought I'd be happier now that I've shed ____ lbs."33

The excitement when you get a healthy BMI reading on the scale33

How stressed you can make yourself by setting small goal weights not realizing that muscle is indeed a master of deception on the scale. Officially tucked it away in the attic! Just sticking to my eating and working out.... I'll check it in about a month or 2.17

You'll quickly learn how to micro-manage minutiae. That's a gift and curse.
Also that "light & free" feeling feels awesome. You'll feel ready to go at the drop of a hat.15 -

Stairs... Pffff, no problem!32

How when you get closer to goal weight some people's comments are just as negative as when you were obese. I lift 3x per week and can lift more than most of the instructors in the class and yet I often hear "you're getting scrawny" from one particular person. Drives me batty!20

I can't wait to get out of a chair without knee pain. I remember how great that was from 3 years ago when I was much lighter.7

I've only lost 36lbs, still have 50 to lose but so far my clothes fit better, looser, that horrible kangaroo pouch is shrinking and I don't have to move it to shave lol, cellulite has decreased, I can walk/jog up steep hills without losing my breath, I can do squats without my knees crunching as badly. Just so many things so soon and I've still got a ways to go! My nose is less fat! My husband magically stopped having a 'low sex drive' haha. I've been told by family and friends what an inspiration I am, how I'm a role model, how great it is that I workout so hard for my size. Oh and the best part, this is more of a workout related success than a weight loss one but I suffered from severe mental disorders such as PTSD, PPD, APD, SAD, I can't control my emotions, would fight with my husband every day for no reason, cried buckets of tears everyday, but ever since I started exercising we haven't had a fight since March, I don't cry as often, my anxieties are less, I'm less paranoid and sleep through the night, I'm able to bond with my 1yr old son for the first time. My life has changed, I have changed, it goes beyond just looking better, as I feel alive for the first time in my life. It's only going to get better from here!128

My face is a hot mess that will not clear up. I've paid for laser treatments, taken a ton of antibiotics, used a ton of prescription face creams, tried Proactiv and Mary Kay Clear Proof, use Cetaphil daily. Nothing works at all. It's been bad for the past 3 years and gotten worse as I've lost weight.
I've had some success with eating paleo - not sure if it was the sugar or dairy, but my skin has cleared up alot except for hormones, and washing my face with honey has done a lot of good too. (I know the honey is kinda nuts, but I swear it's actually very nice and luxurious).3 -

- Those who have seen me go up and down over the years are not saying anything about my weight loss (and they never say anything about the gains either)
- Working out makes you smaller even when the weight loss is not so great.
- Sometimes your friends need to change to enable your goals (aka no more drinking night out with the girls.)
